After getting into his pajamas and ready for bed, Jin went to the living room to get water but became confused when he saw Jimin. "Why are you dressed like that?"
"Oh, you are awake. I thought you were already asleep. I was going to walk around the town outside of campus. Since we got here, I've meant to do it, but I haven't had the time. Since it's a Friday night, I figure I should do it now."
"You are going by yourself?"
Jimin nodded and said, "This town is safe, I'll be fine, and I'm sure I'll meet people."
"My mother told me that no place is ever too safe. You shouldn't go by yourself, in my opinion."
"I know, but I am at college; I am not going to stay locked into my dorm and only go to classes. I want to see what's out there. I doubt anything is going to happen to me. I will be fine, Jinnie; you don't have to worry about me."
Jin began to pout, "I don't think you should go alone; maybe I should come with you."
"You're coming with me?" Jimin's eyes were big as he asked. It had been two weeks since they started school, and Jin rarely went anywhere other than to his classes. Most of the time he was in their dorm apartment, he was reading, trying out new skincare products, or unpacking clothes his mother had sent him, which was a lot. Jimin often wondered where in Jin's room they got stored.
"I think I should. Let me call my mom and tell her."
"Seokjin, it's nine; you are going to call your mom now?"
"Oh, it's late. Wait, why are you going out so late? Can't we go tomorrow?"
"I want to see the nightlife outside of campus."
"Nightlife? What's that?"
"The social activities of the city we are in, I am curious about it."
"Oh, okay. Well, I should be curious about it, too, then. I will change out of my jammies and join you."
"Are you sure about coming? I'm fine on my own, Jinnie. I don't want you to go anywhere that won't make you feel good." Jimin asked for reassurance because he knew that Jin liked different things than he did.
"I want to see the nightlife too. I have never seen a nightlife."
Jimin smiled, "Okay, get dressed. Wear something pretty."
"Shouldn't it be sexy like what you are wearing?"
"No, something pretty. I'm going to change into something pretty, too."
Jin frowned, "but you look nice."
"Thank you, but I think I chose the wrong outfit. It's a night to look pretty, not sexy."
"But I always look pretty."
Jimin couldn't argue with that, so he just smiled and said, "look even prettier then."
"My mom would say that's not possible. I maxed out on being pretty."
"Okay, be sexy and pretty."
"How do I do that?"
"I'll help you decide what to wear."
Jin smiled happily, "aww, thank you, Jiminie!"

When Jin and Jimin walked outside, Jin glanced around, and when he saw how windy it was at night, he was glad that he had listened to Jimin and wore a sweater over his shirt with his jeans since the night air was chilly.
"Where is the car?"
Jimin looked at him with a perplexed expression and asked, "what car?"
"The car that's going to take us out tonight to the nightlife?"
