After eating the food that Jin had given to him, Jungkook patted his chest as he burped. When he first tried it, he was sure that it would be too much food for him to consume, but once he took a bite, he found that he couldn't stop eating until it was all gone.
"You ate it all!"
Jungkook switched attention to Jin, who had just emerged from the bathroom after a shower. His eyes traveled over Jin as he was dressed in his robe. His tongue prodded the inside of his cheeks. He leaned back in the chair and patted his lap as he beckoned for Jin to come over to him.
"Do you want me to sit on top of you?" Jin inquired and then made his way over to Jungkook; once there, he didn't hesitate to take a seat on Jungkook's lap.
"I was wondering why you didn't ask me to shower with you." Jungkook brushed away the stray hairs stuck to Jin's forehead and then asked him the question.
"I was supposed to invite you?"
Nodding his head, Jungkook said, "an invitation would have been nice." As he continued to look at Jin, his hands began to slide around Jin's waist.
"I am sorry, but I have never shared a shower with anybody else before. I will make sure to ask you next time. Does it make a difference if we do it jointly instead of on our own?"
Jungkook smiled, "there is a huge difference."
"Really? Like what?"
"I will tell you when it is more appropriate. I have to go home now, but I wanted to thank you for your hospitality."
"Hos-"
"I meant to say thank you for letting me stay the night when I was tired and giving me something to eat. You were very kind to do that. Something I would appreciate a boyfriend doing for me."
Jin's cheeks began to blush, and with a grin on his face, he said, "see, I told you I could be a great boyfriend."
"I don't have any doubts about your capability, Seokjin; nevertheless, I do have some doubts about your capacity to stay loyal."
Jin frowned and said, "what do you mean?"
"I don't want a guy who is always thinking about other people or trying to kiss others for feedback. I want someone that is completely devoted to me and no one else. If you are mine, you are mine, not for anyone else."
"Are you telling me you want to take ownership of me?" Jin cocked his head to the side as he fixed his gaze on Jungkook and asked, "why?"
"I didn't intend it like that, Seokjin. I meant that you can't want me as your boyfriend and then consider dating other people who may become your style like the way I am."
"Jungkook, I got what you were saying, and I have no problem with you claiming ownership of me; in fact, I think that's an important quality in a good boyfriend. It is expected that you will look after my needs, and I will do the same for yours. Because I could see you were exhausted the night before, I made a place for you in my bed so that you could get some rest without having to endure a lengthy commute.
I am sorry if I have given you the impression that I cannot be loyal to you; I am still learning how to do this, so the first time I do it, it probably won't go perfectly. However, I am capable of being loyal to you. If I make a mistake, let me know so that I may correct it and avoid doing it again."
Jungkook found Jin's attempts to explain himself endearing, and as he glanced at Jin, he took a long, deep breath as he did so. They were so different from one another, even in their personalities, and he could see a big disparity between their background and how they lived. Even though he wasn't someone who struggled with insecurities regularly, he couldn't see how Jin's life could include someone like him. It was evident that Jin had no imperfections.
