As they heard footsteps approaching the kitchen, Taehyung and Jimin immediately separated themselves from one another.
"Can somebody walk me through the steps of paying a phone bill?" As Jin entered the kitchen, he held Jungkook's phone and posed the question.
Jin's question left Jimin puzzled, but Taehyung quickly saw Jungkook's phone and walked over to where Jin was standing to offer his assistance. "I can assist."
Jin smiled and said, "Thanks. Jungkook went to sleep without telling me, and I did not want to wake him up. I think he should continue to sleep. His heart hurts a lot, which makes mine hurt, too."
Taehyung was able to identify with the sadness that was hiding beneath Jin's smile. Being Jungkook's closest friend, he could testify that it was very uncommon to see Jungkook in such a state, and he was aware that it was probably the first time Jin had ever seen Jungkook in such a way.
He removed the phone from Jin's grasp and unlocked it, having been familiar with Jungkook's passcode. He then connected to their neighbor's hotspot to access the mobile provider app, where Jin needed to enter the payment information for the bill to be paid.
"I am going to need the card you are going to use for payment."
Jin fished in his bag to find his wallet and pulled it out. He opened the wallet to show several bank cards and asked Taehyung, "Which one?"
Taehyung's eyes went wide, but he quickly composed himself and said, "Any of them should be fine as long as there is money on them."
"There is always money on them." Jin responded by taking out his favorite card and handing it to Taehyung, "Use this one."
After taking the card, Taehyung asked, "Did Jungkook tell you how much the bill was?" before entering the data into the platform.
"No, and it's not important."
"Okay-"
"Is there a way to make it so it never becomes like this again?"
"What do you mean?"
"Can you do it like mine? My services never stop for any reason. I do not know how to do it because my parents take care of it, but you know, so please do it for Jungkook too. I do not want his services to be interrupted anymore. He should have been able to call me whenever he was not feeling well or if something was wrong, but he could not because of this problem."
"Umm-"
"He wants you to set up an auto-pay, Taehyung." When Jimin approached them, he provided some clarity for Taehyung's benefit.
Jin smiled, "Yes, whatever Jimin said is what I want. Auto ongoing bill coverage."
Taehyung bit his lip tightly as he attempted to contain his laughter, and then he followed Jin's instructions to complete the task. After receiving confirmation that the bill had been paid, he promptly returned Jin's card to him.
"Many, many thanks. When Jungkook wakes up, he will be happy." Jin took Jungkook's phone from Taehyung as he left the room but stopped to ask, "Where should I order Jungkook food from?"
"That's not necessary; I am cooking."
Jin frowned, "Jungkook said you don't know how to cook."
"That is true, but Jimin is helping me."
"Oh. Jimin, that's true?"
"Yes, Jinnie, it's true."
Jin nodded and said, "Okay, I guess that helps. So, can you please pay more attention to cooking and less attention to being together so Jungkook can eat when he wakes up? I do not think it is clean for people to touch each other in the kitchen. None of the kitchen staff at my house ever did that, so do not do it."
