A big part of what Jungkook had said with Yoongi was beginning to make sense to him as he stared at Jin in a state of disbelief. He was making every attempt to reach an agreement with Jin on how they should act, especially in the event that Jin's parents returned to the room, but he was unable to come to any understanding that would be advantageous to both of them. As a result, he came to the conclusion that it would be better for him to remain silent.

"Please don't say anything, and let me talk when your parents return."

"Well, since I don't want to marry you, I don't have anything to say anyway."

"If you say that enough, I might decide to change my mind." Yoongi grinned at Jin and mocked him.

Jin adjusted his seat, increasing the space between him and Yoongi. He then shifted his gaze, directing his attention in a different direction. Before he had adjusted his seat, he couldn't help but notice the softness and added charm that Yoongi's smile brought to his appearance. However, he knew it was wrong to think that way, so he made sure to keep his distance and refrained from complimenting Yoongi on his smile.

Yoongi was captivated by Jin, unable to tear his gaze away. He noticed the slight pout on Jin's lips and the intense concentration on his face. Jin was obviously stunning, but it didn't matter since he was already interested in someone else. Despite doubting his chances, he preferred to take a chance with this person rather than succumbing to an arranged marriage chosen by his family. Yoongi also became quite fond of Jungkook after meeting him because of his straightforward nature. Despite their apparent disadvantages, Jungkook showed no hesitation in approaching him.

Witnessing Jungkook's actions motivated him to do the same and confront his parents. He had some doubts about how he would accomplish it, but he was determined to find a solution. Meanwhile, he intended to make the most of the opportunity he had with Jin to delay confronting his parents. He believed it would be beneficial for both him and Jin.

"I'm sorry for the disruption; I had to help my wife," Minwoo said upon re-entering the room.

"It's not a worry at all. I just finished having a conversation with Seokjin about our intentions for the future. With all of the details that he gave me, I have concluded that it would be more advantageous for both of us if he completed his studies first, and then we moved on with the process of getting married. During this time, we are going to give dating a lot of attention and get to know one another very well."

Yoongi's words caught Minwoo off guard. Meanwhile, Jin had been silently counting in his head to distract his attention from the ongoing conversation, following Yoongi's instruction to remain silent.

Minwoo exclaimed with satisfaction as he settled into a chair at the table. "I'm pleased that you and Seokjin could discuss that. Seokjin is truly dedicated to his studies, and it's wonderful that you recognize and support his commitment. It's important for him to have the opportunity to complete what he has begun."

"Yes, without a doubt. I believe I was a little selfish before meeting Jin and seeing how attractive he is. I started to feel a sense of fear, worrying that he might be taken away by someone else." Yoongi laughed but stopped when Jin gave him a sidelong glance and rolled his eyes.

Minwoo noticed his son's intense gaze, which tempted him to remind him about the need for respect. However, he observed that Yoongi appeared unfazed by it, so he decided to overlook the matter.

"That's not a matter of concern for you. Seokjin belongs to you, and I am able to reassure you of that."

Yoongi remained silent, aware that the promise had been broken a while ago.
