"What is it that you are referring to? Yes, I had dinner with them, but I didn't notice any unusual behavior between them. Jin mentioned that he was his friend, and I must say that they were consistently nice and kind throughout our time spent together." Jimin could not comprehend Taehyung's rationale for calling and expressing his frustration. "Okay, I wasn't aware of that! Whatever, Taehyung!" He shouted angrily and abruptly ended the call.
He sprang off his bed and walked to Jin's room door, where he pounded on it. He wanted to find out from Jin what had occurred between him and Jungkook since he didn't like how Taehyung had called him and was unhappy with him even though he hadn't done anything wrong.
He knocked on Jin's door multiple times but received no response. He pressed his ear against the door, listening intently to the sound of sniffles coming from inside. Concerned, he unlocked the door and gently pushed it open, calling, "Jinnie, are you alright?"
"I think Jungkook doesn't want us to have a relationship anymore," Jin responded, tears streaming uncontrollably down his face as he sat in the lonely stillness of his bed, clutching his phone tightly in his trembling hand.
Witnessing Jin's tears weighed heavily on Jimin's heart, causing him to forget about his heated argument with Taehyung momentarily. He quietly entered Jin's room, his sadness mirroring Jin's, and silently sat beside him on the bed. "What happened? Why do you think that? Did Jungkook say something?"
"I don't know. I was telling him about my week and all that I did. I also told him about Hoseok, and I think he was not happy to hear about it. He then told me I could date Hoseok; why would he tell me that? I don't want to date Hoseok."
Jimin brought Jin close and hugged him before asking, "What did you tell Jungkook about Hoseok? Did you tell him I went with you to dinner with him?"
"I did, and I also told him the other time I went out with Hoseok-"
"Aside from the time we went together, how many other times have you gone out with Hoseok?" Jimin questioned, drawing back to look at Jin since he was unaware of any other occasions on which Jin had gone out with Hoseok in addition to the occasion on which they had gone out together.
Jin wiped his tears and said, "There was a day yesterday when he asked me to eat gluten-free ice cream, and we watched a movie on the university grass with blankets and gluten-free snacks, so I told Jungkook about it." Jin continued, " I am sorry I missed telling you about it, but I understand you were too busy to come with me and Hoseok."
Jimin's eyes widened with surprise as he fixated on Jin, his surprise becoming evident. "You actually spend Movie Day with Hoseok?
Jin nodded, "It wasn't only a movie day; it was ice cream day too."
"No, Jin. Yesterday was a day dedicated to watching movies. Movie Day is a holiday that couples often celebrate by watching movies together. That is the reason why numerous movies were being shown on the campus lawn yesterday. Taehyung and I also went to the movies, which is why I mentioned that I was busy."
Jin became confused and said, "But Hoseok and I are not a couple. We didn't watch the movie as a couple either. He is a friend of mine. I also mentioned this to Jungkook. I am not sure about the reasons behind his plan to put an end to our relationship. It hurts a lot."
Jin broke down, collapsing onto his pillow as tears cascaded down his face, consumed by overwhelming sadness. He pleaded, "Can you please tell me what I should do to fix this?"
