"I gotta say, I was pretty bummed that you never got back to me or replied to my messages, but I am happy I could see you here." Hoseok, whom Jin had bumped into while getting his coffee, suggested that they sit together to talk while enjoying their drinks.
Jin, feeling sorry, offered a smile filled with apologies before delicately savoring a sip of his latte. After taking a sip from his cup and carefully setting it down on the tabletop, he gracefully crossed his legs and apologized, saying, "I am sorry. I really wanted to text you and talk to you, but I didn't know how to do it."
Hoseok, feeling confused, promptly asked, "What do you mean? Did something I say during our last conversation cause that to happen?"
"No." Jin sighed and replied, "My boyfriend doesn't want me to join you for dinner or be friends with you. He says that it would be considered cheating if I were to take part in doing that, but personally, I do not share the same thought and do not view it as cheating. I have been confused about this and wanted to discuss it with you. I apologize for not responding to you earlier. I hope you can understand why I didn't respond."
Hoseok couldn't help but chuckle as he listened to Jin's response. After a brief pause, he smiled and leaned closer to Jin, making eye contact.
"I can understand why your boyfriend would prefer you to stay away from me. Sometimes, the people we date can be prone to jealousy and get jealous easily. That could be the situation with your boyfriend. He knows your attractiveness and may be concerned that someone else might develop feelings for you and try to separate you from him."
Jin frowned and pouted, saying, "No one can separate me from him. I am unsure as to why he would think like that. He is my style and the one I really like. I am not thinking of going to anyone else. If that's what he is thinking, he doesn't need to. I am for him, and he is for me."
Hoseok was slightly surprised but still found it amusing. "Who is this person? It appears that you are quite smitten with him."
"He is my boyfriend, and what do you mean by smitten by him? He is not smitten anything to me."
Hoseok stifled his laughter by placing his hand over his mouth. After regaining his composure, he expressed, "What I meant to say is that it seems like you have deep feelings for your boyfriend. From what you've shared, it's evident that you genuinely care for him. I wish I could have a boyfriend who thinks of me like you think and talk about your boyfriend."
Jin smiled and said, "I really like him a lot. He is the complete package of style that I have wanted. If you find someone who sees you as the complete package in terms of style, you might be able to find a boyfriend similar to me."
"So you don't see me as a total style package?"
"Of course, you are the whole package of style. You are handsome, a good kisser, and you dress and talk nicely. When you look at me, you always have a smile on your face. I like your smile a lot and always think of it whenever I talk to you." Jin told Hoseok the truth as he looked at him.
Hoseok leaned in, placing his elbows on the table, and locked eyes with Jin. "So, if you weren't already in a relationship, would I have a shot at being your boyfriend?"
Jin bit his lower lip as he thought about what Hoseok had asked. "Have you got any decorations?"
"Decorations?"
"Yes. You know, like putting pretty pictures on your body. Like the good-looking ones."
"Oh, are you asking if I have any tattoos?" Hoseok asked for clarification to ensure that he fully understood Jin's question.
Jin nodded and said, "I believe that's another term for it. Do you happen to have any?"
"I do have a few, but not a lot."
