"You have a boyfriend? I didn't know this." On the other end of the call, a surprised-sounding Hoseok questioned.

Jin nodded cheerfully and said, "Yes, I do. I didn't get the chance to tell you because it had been so long since we'd last talked. I'll tell you all about him tomorrow night over dinner."

While Jin patiently awaited Hoseok's response, he shifted his gaze toward Jungkook. Observing the angry expression on Jungkook's face caused him to frown, "Why do you look like you are mad?"

"I am sorry; I am not looking upset. I was surprised by the news you shared. Honestly, I am unhappy to hear you have a boyfriend." Hoseok confessed, mistakenly believing that Jin was speaking to him.

"Why aren't you happy?" Jin wondered, wearing a pout on his face.

"Well, I like you, and I-"

Before Hoseok could finish speaking, Jungkook swiftly reached for Jin's phone, clicked the button, and promptly ended the call. Jin was surprised by his actions. "Why did you do that?"

"How do you know him?" Jungkook's voice filled the room as he pressed the button to dismiss another incoming call from Hoseok, effectively silencing the intrusive ringtone that echoed from Jin's phone.

"He is my friend. He attends the same school as me. We enjoy having coffee together whenever we meet in line at the cafe. He was the one who provided me with feedback on my kissing technique, whereas you were unwilling to do so." Jin, wanting to clarify Jungkook, explained the identity of Hoseok.

Jungkook's jaw tightened, and his muscles tensed as he directed a glare at Jin. He felt a mix of frustration and disappointment, but he deliberately controlled his anger to prevent it from worsening. "Seokjin, given that you have previously kissed this person, who is not your boyfriend, do you think it is appropriate for you to go out to dinner with them tomorrow or even talk to them?"

Jin nodded, "I do. He is going to be my friend. I can go out with him because of that. It's just like I go out with Jimin, who is my roommate, but also my friend. Also, it's like you go out with Taehyung and that friend you mentioned earlier that I don't know about."

"Seokjin, that is not equivalent! You engaged in a kiss with this guy. He just mentioned that he also likes you. Did you not hear that? Are you pretending not to have heard him?" Jungkook raised his voice and yelled.

Jin became frightened by Jungkook's loud tone and asked, "Why are you loud? I am right next to you."

"Because you, your words and actions are making me upset. I know you are naive, but you are not that naive! There is no way it can be considered acceptable to go out with someone who has kissed you and is now calling you to ask you out on a date, especially when you already have a boyfriend!"

"He didn't ask me on a date; he said-"

"You are not going! If I ever discover that you are communicating with him again, we will end our relationship. I am your boyfriend. You must stop being naive and assuming that this person only has friendly intentions. He doesn't want to be your friend! Jimin is your friend. Know the difference." Jungkook's frustration was evident, his brows furrowing as he made an honest effort to suppress his anger. He spoke to Jin, his voice strained yet controlled, as he fought to maintain his composure.

Jin's expression turned somber as he cast his gaze downward. "I know you are my boyfriend," he said softly. "You are my one and only boyfriend. I'm not sure what you mean by "naive," but I assure you I am not that. I am simply being true to who I am.
