The Queen's Baby (our little princess)

chapter 34

Isabella POV

After cuddling with mama and momma for a good hour, we had to get up and go to dinner

Lunch was my picnic so we did have to go down for dinner but momma wanted to talk to me about aunt megan first, I had a rough idea on what it was about

"So baby, aunty Megan is a flip, do you know what it means angel?" Momma asked softly sitting besides me on the bed

"Mean she sometimes be a little?" I asked unsure, that's what I think a flip meant, mama's face broke out into a grin and she kissed my cheek gently "that's absolutely correct my smart baby"

I smiled and nodded, so I was right! "So when we go down, Aunt megan might still be little, and she's new to all this, so can we count on our big girl to help her feel nice and welcome?" Momma asked softly lifting me into her lap after I nodded

"Such a good girl" Momma cooes softly at me and kisses my head standing up and letting me rest my head on her shoulder

"Can we haf ice cweam for sweets todwday?" I whispered softly, settling to playing with her hair that momma had simply put up with a hair clip

"Of course we can honey! That's a great idea, mama was craving some ice cream today as well" Mama said looking at me giving me a wink towards the end making me hide into momma's shoulder

"Oh no where did my baby go? She was right here a moment ago" Momma asked in a concerned tone to mama, making me pout a little and peek out, I was right here!!

"I'm here momma" I said giggling softly and patting momma's cheek making her look at me and her face broke out into a huge grin "there is my baby girl!" Momma said in a happy voice kissing my head and letting my rest my head into her neck

We entered the dinning room and immediately momma's parents looked towards us with concerned eyes and smiled softly when their eyes met mine, I guess momma understood my confusion as she whispered softly into my ear "they know what happened in the past, that kingdom used to be my parents it's ruled by my older sister now, but they don't know all of it only the basic details and don't worry they won't treat you any different little bug"

I nodded and I was passed on to mama as she sat down while grandma and grandpa talked with momma for a few minutes as we waited for nana and papa and Aunt megan to come

Vivian POV

Bella sat quietly on my lap, her eyes glancing over to gloria and her parents as they talked about something, probably about Mike and Michael, I was grateful that they were keeping their voices down

"What are you in a mood to eat today angel?" I asked running my hand through her hair gently

"Chicken? Pasta!" She said in a soft voice, now distracted and looking intently at the maids who were lifting up the lids and revealing new dishes

"Mama there pasta!" She squeals happily once she spots it being uncovered, earning a smile from the maids

She proceeded to name out all the dishes that were being uncovered after that, and making up new ones for the one's that she didn't know

It was really adorable to hear "ghosty greens" And "gooey eggs" As names of dishes, it made them sound really interesting

"Desert will be ice cream today, and one sunday for the princess please" I whispered to a maid who nodded politely and walked off

With a small smile on her face Gloria came and sat on her seat poking bella gently and erupting giggles from her

After all the crying she's done today, I have really missed those giggles

"let's start" I told everyone on the table as soon as my parents and Megan sat down on the table, she looked big by the looks of it but she stuck close to my parents, maybe she was kind of in the middle

Megan's eye's met with mine and I gave her a small smile making her relax and start to eat her food which mom had plated for her

"Roast chicken and pasta little one?" I asked once again confirming and she nodded eagerly also pointing to the cheesy potatoes or 'gooey potatoes' as Bella named them

"Eat up angel" I placed her plate in front of her and watched happily as she are up. Looking at her right now, sitting on my lap her back resting against me as she happily eats her food no sign of worry of sadness in her eyes

That's how I want her to be happy, content, loved and safe, judging by the look on Gloria's face she was thinking the same thing, our eyes met for a brief second and I most definitely knew that yes we were thinking of the same thing

Our precious little princess, I'll do absolutely anything to keep you safe, mine and Gloria's little baby girl

The next chapter of this story will be the last chapter for this book, we have really come a long way and I can't thank everyone enough for sticking with me throughout this journey

There were a lot of ideas that people wanted to see before we close this book and I will try and include as much of that as can

Keeping that in mind, the next update is going to be in 2 weeks which will be the epilogue of this book
