Atsushi, Ranpo, and Poe found a simple picnic table to place their food on. It was located right underneath a bright yellow Ginkgo Tree. Glowing golden leaves scattered the table messily after gliding down from the tree and gracefully landing on the wooden table.

"Alright! This spot looks perfect! Let us eat!" Poe shouted, seeming way more lively than usual.

Ranpo giggled, admiring the perky man. "Glad to see you so excited, any particular reason why?"

"O-oh, not at all! " Poe tripped up, showing slight signs of anxiousness. "Just super happy to be here with all of you is all, we rarely get to do this..so I guess it just means a lot to me."

"Weird..his vocabulary is usually more extended ." Atsushi wondered to himself, trying to make more sense of the matter.

"Awww how sentimental! You've got me shedding a tear!" Ranpo swayed, wiping an imaginary tear away with his finger. "Now let's dig in!!" He continued to yell, it almost swayed them to believe he was only there for the food.

While Ranpo mindlessly grabbed handfuls of whatever and shoved it into his mouth savagely, Atushsi broke off half a loaf of bread to munch on. He kept his eyes on the two, sensing that something was off. But everything from that moment on was as a regular day would be. Ranpo attempted to kindly force some food down Poe's throat, claiming "It's delicious you gotta try it!" or "C'mon it's not that bad!". Once he was finished with a dish, his face would be covered in crumbs and food stains, being repeatedly wiped away by Poe time and time again. Just your typical day of 'Ranpo makes a mess and is being chaotic while Poe cleans it up and tries to keep him from doing something illegal.'

Of course, Atsushi was practically silent and ignored the entire time, eating as much as a sandwich. He didn't quite mind it as much as the next person may have however, he found observing couples to be somewhat fascinating. Interesting even. Not in some sort of creepy way, but more so in a way that he wanted to learn. Since love wasn't always present in his life, he didn't fully understand what the 'correct' way to love was. Or at least that's how he registered it in his messed-up mind.

"Atsushi, you've been fairly silent. What's up with you?" Ranpo rudely interrupted Atushsi's deep thought.

"Oh, me? Not much really! Sorry if I'm getting in the way-"

"Nope! You aren't going to apologize anymore this entire day!" Ranpo demanded confidently, now standing on the table for no apparent reason. "I forbid it!" He continued pointing straight at Atsushi to emphasize his point.

"But what if-" Atsushi tried squeezing in his statements. "Nope! I don't want to hear a peep out of you until you can agree on these terms!" Ranpo lengthened his testament.

"Ranpo get down from the table. "Poe sighed, somehow still not tired from the hyper boy's antics.

Ranpo stepped back, still pointing his finger right in Atsushi's face, dipping his foot off of the table to try and hop back down. Along the way, he found a solid place to place his foot but failed to correctly place his other foot down onto the bench just as carefully. As a result, he tripped backward, falling off the table. Luckily, Poe was just behind him and rushed to catch the careless boy.

"Ranpo! You must be more cautious! Why you could have died, dear! "Poe shrieked at Ranpo, scolding him for his reckless behavior.

Ranpo started laughing somehow, replying with a simple. "You worry too much! See! I'm just fine! Thanks!"

"Yeah! And thank goodness you're okay! But you're only fine because I saved you damn it! You're being far too risky! " Poe complained, trying to take the sense out of Ranpo.
