"Thank you so much, Chuuya Sir!" Atsushi bowed instantaneously with his thanks.

"Psh...Well, don't just stand there! Are you going to come in or not?!" Chuuya snapped once again, his attitude back to normal at last.

Atsushi quickly rose from his bow and bolted into his house, fearing that if he did not, he would be smashed to smithereens by the redhead. Chuuya proceeded to slam the wooden door behind them after Atsushi had (safely) entered the home.

"Tea?" Chuuya politely asked, picking up a teapot to gesture his preparedness.

"Agh...No, thank you. I had a picnic with some friends a few hours ago, I'm subsequently filled." Atsushi responded, still grateful for the offer.

"Suit yourself." Chuuya commented as he reached for his own cup.

First, he tore away the smooth paper packaging of the tea bag and placed it carelessly into the glass tea cup. He reached on his tip toes for a tea kettle, which he had stored in a dusty cabinet, the unflattering gray paint chipping off. He visited the sink, opened the tap, and let the water splash into the tea kettle. He traveled back to the stove to set the water to boil and leaned against the counter, his waist relaxed. He crossed his arms and waited for the water to boil.

"What's your prefered flavour ?" Atsushi suddenly spoke up, "Of tea, that is."

Chuuya peered his head upwards, staring off into space. "I don't drink tea very often. I used to be more of a wine guy." He paused, "Tch...But I'm through with drinking. After Dazai died, I went on a drinking spree and became an alcoholic. I've learned through my mistakes, though. I should've never looked back.."

"I see...If you don't mind me asking, how did Dazai die?" Atsushi questioned, being curious as ever.

Chuuya clenched the fabric on his skin, his teeth gritted against each other and he became very visibly upset.

"Suicide...He...Dazai..." Chuuya cringed heavily at uttering his name," Killed himself.." It was clear that Chuuya had trouble repeating Dazai's name. Atsushi could tell that Chuuya must've spent a long time trying to run from the memory of Dazai.

Atsushi's eyes widened, glistening with tears of nothing but pure empathy for Chuuya.

"The night he killed Akugtawa he...he...he fell off of a skyscraper...it was ruled out as an accident but...I know that he killed himself...I'm sure of it."

At the exact moment he started the sentence, the kettle produced spewing steam and emitting the sound of an undying whistle. Chuuya whipped his body around and began to prepare the tea for himself. He eventually walked back over to Atsushi and took a seat. He blew on the scolding tea and took a quick first sip.

"Tell me this...Atsushi...Dazai sent you here, correct? If he is attempting to get information out of me through you, give it up. He should know better then to-"

"I'm not here to exchange information for Dazai. He did in fact lead me to you, but shockingly enough he was...well...helping me."

Chuuya set his drink down and grinned gingerly. "He wasn't entirely evil...no. He had a heart. Maybe it was open to a select handful of people, but Dazai had heart. He still shared his emotions, feelings, and so forth. I think I saw that part of him the most. He was always so irritable around me. But every so often, he softened up. So I guess. What I'm saying is that I do believe you."

"Its hard to believe..But I respect that you know much more about him." Atsushi confessed, his position jutting the idea that he was in deep consideration.

"So tell me, Young Atsushi! What is it that you must know so badly about Dazai? Remember, you're a pretty lucky boy to get this information from me! So don't you go takin' for granted now! So go on! Ask me a damn good question." Chuuya's demeanor was suddenly back to his regular, and he didn't seem so bothered at the very mention of Dazai anymore.

"Ah! Yes..." Atsushi, noticing Chuuya's switch in attitude, caused him to straighten his messy emotions out too. He took a deep breath and began, "Tell me, Chuuya. What happened between Dazai and Akutgawa? Why did what happened to play out the way it did? I want to hear it from an outside perspective now..."

"I see...so you know the general story, I assume? Well, I wasn't much involved with their feud. All that I know is that Akutgawa was Dazai's student. Akutgawa was given to Dazai so that he could train. However, not everyone accepted him. While Akutgawa did practically nothing to get in the Mafia, everyone else had to work hard and sacrifice a lot to get there. I understand that Akutgawa didn't volunteer to join the Mafia willingly and that he got forced instead. I must sympathize with him. I know what it's like to have a rough start in life. Dazai just happened to be one who didn't accept him into the Mafia so easily. He hated that despite the various reviews of Akutgawa's natural-born power, he was still weak in Dazai's eyes. I think Dazai was hoping for someone as strong as himself. Or maybe someone to battle against. He saw Akutgawa struggling to get back on his feet. It disappointed him gravely. I'm not entirely sure what drove him to the conclusion that he had to kill Akutgawa, but I guess nobody does. Sorry, kid, I can't answer for Dazai why he did what he did."

"I see..." Atsushi frowned slightly, unsatisfied with yet another answer given to him. Grateful, but unsatisfied.

"Thank you,Chuuya, for your time. Please, take care." And with that, Atsushi stood up, bowed, and headed for the door.

"Stay safe, Kid. And please, try not to get involved with Dazai too much. He was powerful enough when he was alive. God only knows what he's capable of in the afterlife.." Chuuya tipped his fedora as if bidding Atsushi adieu.

Atsushi pivoted open the creaky door, and just before he stepped foot outside of the home, he turned his head around quickly to say something.

"Oh,and Chuuya, Im sorry for your loss."
