To my surprise, they called in Ben right then and there.I leaned my head against the wall, beyond frustrated with how this day was working itself out.
"I assume your big brother isn't aware of you smoking, right?" Hood spoke after Irwin had left to go get him from the front
"No, and I prefer that it stay that way." I mumbled, seeing Hood smile lightly before pulling something out of a bad that was beside him, quickly spritzing me with it, which confused me until I smelled a cologne scent.
"Get better at hiding it then, especially the smell"
Before I could even say anything, the door opened, Irwin leading Ben in.
"What's wrong?" Ben asked quickly, touching my shoulder gently.
"Nothing-" I was interrupted by Irwin.
He then went over the whole spill about nutrients and how my blood pressure was low and not picking up, and how we needed another appointment at their office.
"Well did she tell you about the eating disorder-" "Ben." I immediately spat to him, earning both of the doctors attention.
"Eating disorder? You never mentioned a eating disorder." Hood spoke firmly.
"That's because I don't have one-" "not a diagnosed one, but her dad and I both know she has one." Ben spat, focusing more to me than the doctors.
"So what has stopped you guys from getting it diagnosed?" Irwin spoke quickly.
"Yeah- tell him what has stopped us." I spoke quickly to Ben, knowing it was my dads fault, but knowing he would never admit that to these men.
Always kissing my dads ass.
"We just never got around to it."
"Well- I think this is something we could speak more about at her next appointment." Hood broke the ice from Ben and I silently giving death looks to each other.
"And we would highly recommend bringing your father, we will even call him with a appointment confirmation-" "no." Ben and I spoke in unison, making them both look to us.
"Is there something we should know about your dad?"
He's an utter asshole.
"He's just a busy man."
Ben.
"Maybe it's not the worst thing if they call dad, better them telling him then us." I convinced her as we walked to my car, the ending of her assessment not ending the way either of us wanted.
They were most definitely going to call Roy and inform him of her appointment for Friday.
She stayed silent.
"Come on- he can't be that mad at you over a medical issue-" "Ben, shut the fuck up right now." She spoke oddly calm, shutting the door to my car as she got in.
"Don't talk to me like that." I told her firmly, hearing her laugh, making me look to her.
"You're going to end up just like him." She spat and I instantly felt anger take over.
"You think I'm going to end up like him?" I laughed, grabbing her hand to stop her from playing on her phone.
She stared to me, a death glare sculpted on her face.
"Okay." I laughed, still hurt by her words.
"Then I'll act like him. I'm done taking shit for you, you can walk home and tell him why I made you walk home when we get there."
"Ben, stop-" "call me, Roy- since I act so much like him."
