Calum.

I sat beside her in bed as she full blown panicked

"I don't want to do it" she cried to us, Michael and Ashton both looking to her sympathetically, having just went over the entire plan for the surgery, which freaked her out.

"Please cal- tell them I'm okay" she cried to me, grabbing my arm with her good hand.

"Briley, calm down angel" I spoke to her calmly, pulling her into a hug, which made her immediately hide her face in my shoulder, crying quietly.

"Briley I promise you, you have nothing to be scared of. After you eat dinner tonight, we are going to give you an anti anxiety medicine just to cut the nerves so you can sleep and then when you wake up in the morning, we will be almost completely ready to take you back, you'll get another anxiety medicine and then you'll go to the OR with us and then you'll fall asleep and wake up about four hours later." Michael spoke calmly, touching her arm gently, gaining her letting him hold her bad hand, which he extra gently held.

"I want to be awake" she cried out, finally looking to everyone, still keeping her head laid on my chest.

"We can't keep you awake for surgery, baby" Ashton spoke calmly, making me instantly whine.

"But I can promise you that Ashton and I will be in the OR with you the entire time and we would never let anything bad happen to you." Michael assured her.

"What about when I'm not with you?" She asked quietly.

"Well Calum and Luke are both on your prep team, so you'll be with one of the four of us at all times." Ashton spoke, making her seem a little more calm about the entire situation.

"Any more questions, angel?" Michael asked calmly, still holding her hand.

"No, I'm okay" she answered quietly, I felt her eyelashes blinking against my neck.

Michael looked to me as Ashton stood, telling us he was going to check on Ben.

"You are definitely someone's safety blanket" michael exhaled as he leaned back in his seat, referring to how Briley was holding me tightly, as if I was going to leave her.

I would never.

Just as I went to respond, one of the police officers ran in

"Roy has been caught and detained, they're taking him down to the city jail for tonight and in the morning he will meet with the judge and such" she spoke at a fast pace

And that was probably the worst thing for Briley to hear right after we just got her calmed down

She didn't cry, but we could tell it gave her a lot of anxiety

She asked me a lot of questions  about whether or not I thought he would end up in prison, if I thought he was mad at her and if he could find her if something happened and he managed to get out.

I held her tightly as I continued sitting in bed with her

"I don't think he matter at all right now, Briley. I know for a fact that he is going to end up in prison, I don't know how long, but he will serve time for what he did to both of you. But regardless, he will never ever be able to get to you again."
