A few hours later, I had her relaxed and sitting with me to watch a movie and she suddenly came out of the bathroom, purely sobbing, making me immediately panic.

"What's wrong?" I asked her, moving towards her.

"I'm bleeding" she cried.

"Where?" I panicked, my brain immediately going to her hand, but when I looked to it, the wrap was still in perfect condition.

"No- like my period- but it's not my period" she cried out.

I immediately just hugged her.

"What do you mean by its not your period?" I asked her, feeling her squeeze me tighter, not letting me let her go, which I didn't mind.

"It's really heavy and my period is never heavy." She spoke into me.

"Well your body has been through a lot in the past twenty four hours, so it's not unexpected for this to happen. How about we get some snacks and cooling rags to make you feel better and try to take a nap?" I spoke to her, knowing she had to have been a little sleepy at least.

She gave me a firm nod, walking with me throughout the entire hospital as we went on a snack and supply run.

We got back into her room before Michael even noticed.

I sat in the bed with her due to her request, letting her place the cooling rags.

"Feel better?" I asked, seeing her nod slowly as I turned our movie back on, opening fruit for her.

Soon Ashton entered, smiling to us.

"Someone's sleepy" he spoke, making me look to Briley, who's eyes were heavy but yet still open.

"How's Ben?" Her tired voice spoke, making him sit beside me in the already too small bed.

"Ben is having some trouble adjusting to all of this. We have him sedated and sleeping because he keeps putting himself into panic attacks, we are hoping that when he wakes up again, myself and a psychologist can help him wrap his mind around all of this." Ashton explained to her slowly.

"What's he saying?" She asked him.

I noticed him hesitating

"Nothing important right now, he's still saying that your father never hurt either of you, which is very typical for abuse survivors." Ashton tried not to lie to her.

"If he is still panicking when he wakes up again, I can try to talk to him for you guys." She spoke quietly

Ashton.

The last thing he needed right now was to see her or her father.

Ben was pretty much mentally spiraling and in a constant panic of them not finding Roy.

He would go from panicking over not knowing where she was, to panicking because we had him hooked to an IV, to panicking because the police were in the room and then just bursting out into tears, telling us that he wanted everything to go back to normal.

So we sedated him, sat with him until he fell asleep, Luke is staying with him while I'm gone and we will continue to switch out until he wakes, where we can hopefully help him grasp everything that is happening in a better light.

I watched as Briley's head fell on Calum's shoulder, the two of them zoned into the movie they had on.

Soon a police officer entered, making Calum and I immediately focus to them.

"Doctors do you think we could speak to you both outside?"

Calum promised Briley he would be right back before leaving her, us all stepping directly outside her door

"We can't find Roy anywhere, they've put out a reward on him, and have him posted all over the internet, every tip we get- we hear he left the state the second the found out we took Ben out of school, we are continuing to look for him, but we are bringing in extra security here just to be sure."
