Briley.

I broke away from him, almost running towards the nurses station.

"Hey honey" a nurse greeted as soon as I walked in.

"He's not here yet, you're a bit early, but you can sit and wait on him." She spoke.

So I did as said.

I wiped the tears that were rolling down my cheeks.

Ben was blowing up my phone.

Don't trust them

We will figure something out

We don't have to go home tonight

We can try a homeless shelter maybe

A homeless shelter would turn us right over to the police due to us both being underage, either way we have to go down this road.

I just knew, I wasn't going back.

Soon Calum opened the door and I immediately stood.

"Briley" he spoke, his facial expression was worried.

I went straight into his arms, feeling him hold me tightly.

"I need you to help me." I cried into him.

"Okay." His voice was calm.

"Okay Briley, let's go talk."

We brought me in a private room and i spilled.

I told him everything from before my mom left, when she would take the beatings until last night, the one story I couldn't tell him.

"Okay Briley, we've got to get you to a hospital, to check all of this out-" "you can't let Ben go back there tonight." I panicked to him.

"No- I'm not." He told me.

I watched as he made a phone call, speaking low.

"Okay, I'll bring her- you can come and get Ben, the police will meet us at the hospital."

Moments after that he hung up.

"Okay Ashton is going to come and get Ben, you and I are going to go ahead and head to the hospital where my friend Michael is going to help me check you out, okay?" He asked me.

I knew it was best that Ben and I weren't in the same vehicle for now, especially after I just did the one thing he had begged me not to do.

So I agreed.

Calum held me gently the entire walk to his car, opening the door for me, making sure I was okay before going to his door.

"Okay angel" he exhaled, starting the car.

"Let's get you actually safe."

I held my tears as he drove me, him talking to me calmly the entire time, explaining everything that was going to be taking place over the next few hours.

I took his hand into my good one, holding it tightly.

And for the first time in a long time, I prayed

Please don't leave me.

He walked me into the hospital, taking me straight into what looked like an office.

"Ashton is on the way to get your brother with police- I'm paging Michael now so that you two can meet and then we will go to an exam room." He told me.

I knew I needed to tell him what happened to me last.

I knew there was something wrong.

"Cal, before Michael gets here- there's one more thing" I mumbled, immediately feeling tears coming to my eyes and the lump in my throat.

"What is it, angel?" He asked me calmly, touching my arm to gently bring me closer to him.

"I don't want to do anything about it though, okay? Like no doctors checking me and no telling the police- I don't want anyone but you to know" I felt my body start crying, even though I so badly didn't want to cry.

"Talk to me, Briley." He was so calm.

I forced myself into a hug from him, which he held me firmly into, letting me gain my composure.

Calum.

She pulled away from me

"He um- he put something in me" she almost sobbed out the words.

I instantly held her tighter.

My poor baby.

"And I'm okay- I promise, but I'm only worried because I had a tampon in and now I can't find it-  and it wasn't anywhere in my room so I'm scared that it's inside me" she continued to just sob out to me, letting me hold her.

"Oh Briley, I am so sorry." I spoke to her, hugging her again.

"I just don't want an exam- just tell me how to get it" she cried into my shoulder.

I knew she was going to need an exam, but there was no reason for me to upset her even more right now.

So I just didn't say anything.

I held her closer to me, hugging her and promising her that she was safe.

Michael soon opened the door, making her immediately look to it.

"That's my friend Michael- he's going to be helping us out today." I told her calmly.

"Just please don't leave me"
