Chapter Twelve

Imogen woke to the sound of a peculiar whine coming from beside herself. She opened her eyes and came face-to-face with a pair of small, firm breasts. Resisting the urge to admire them, she craned her neck to see their owner and was met with Kimiko's rather hideous sleeping face.

Kimiko was open mouthed with drool pooling on the pillow beneath her head and her hair sticking in several different directions, fighting its usually gentle, silken appearance. Her brows were furrowed, causing them to fuse together into one skinny caterpillar that wriggled about every now and then and her nostrils were flared. They relaxed and the corner of her mouth twitched for a moment. She let out a giggle, then sighed and pulled Imogen in closer.

Imogen wiggled to get some space back and Kimiko growled, deep and long. She froze and decided to just stay still against her, but Kimiko growled again, this time tensing up. Imogen reached up and ran her fingers along her exposed temple, trying to calm her enough for her to slip away and received another low, rumbling giggle. This time, Imogen couldn't help but chuckle for a moment in response.

She quickly stopped and composed herself, and then studied Kimiko's face.

For someone so brazen and fierce, she didn't have a very intimidating face up close and personal. Her features were docile and tamed when asleep. She looked gentle. Well, as gentle as one could appear when looking so staggeringly and oddly hilarious.

Kimiko's eyes rolled around following the escapades within her dreams and every now and again she would flare her nostrils, taking in a long sniff and relaxing a bit more each time. A crooked smile remained on her face and Imogen poked at the corner of her mouth, then found herself tracing her fingers over her bottom lip.

She thought back to the night prior and how easily she'd given up her restraint. Imogen was never the type to sleep with a woman she didn't know, yet she was ready to jump right into bed with Kimiko as soon as she saw her. Then, she wanted to take complete control of it all. That was something else to which she wasn't accustomed in the slightest regard.

Imogen had never been someone to voice her wants very much in bed and mostly let her partner take the lead, not that she'd ever had that many partners unlike her last sex addicted girlfriend. She had no issues with those who preferred one night stands or non-exclusive relationships. Her issues were more toward finding it to be a particular problem with her partner. She had no idea how this new person conducted her romantic life and uncertainty hurriedly began flooding her heart, but also somewhat exhilarated her to her core.

Just why had she been so inviting? So explorative into what the dynamics between them were and what they could mean? With Kimiko, Imogen wanted to tell her to do exactly what she wanted. Like it would please Kimiko the most out of anything she could offer her in bed.

She shivered and was surprised to see Kimiko do the same as she tightened her arms around her. Kimiko nuzzled against her neck and nipped at her skin in her sleep with a powerful groan that reverberated against her. Okay... She's a wolf and--

Kimiko licked her bite from last night in her sleep and Imogen shuddered, squeezing her eyes shut. She can probably feel...my arousal... That's what Lanny said...happens, right? So... Kimiko growled as if sensing someone else's name in Imogen's mind and ran her hand down her backside. She groped her buttocks and scissored one leg in between Imogen's. So...I need to... Need to...

Imogen moaned as Kimiko ground against her center, pressing her pajama shorts into her underwear that were unquestionably ruined. Kimiko suddenly tensed and stopped moving. She was definitely awake. Imogen felt her pull back a bit and she lifted her head, opening her eyes. Their eyes met and she saw pure, uninhibited desire in Kimiko's, but she needed to take back control of the situation.
