At school, Harper walked down the stairs, her cream-colored blouse neatly tucked into a flowing green skirt that swished with each step. The sunlight gleamed off her long gold necklace, which clinked softly as she moved. Her sandals clicked on the steps, adding a rhythmic sound to the lively atmosphere around her.

Harper, along with Adam, Bree, Chase and Leo, were all in high spirits, laughing at a joke Leo had just told. Their camaraderie was infectious, with each of them teasing and joking as they descended the stairs.

"Not so fast!" Principal Perry's command boomed through a megaphone, effectively halting the group mid-laugh. They groaned in unison as she reached them and cast a stern gaze at the bionic siblings. "You three missed school yesterday.... not that I didn't enjoy it. But it's been happening way too much lately." She held up a clipboard. "Look at this attendance report."

Chase glanced at the report. "You still keep paper records? You know, we have computers now... also indoor plumbing and fire."

Principal Perry shot him a sharp, warning look. "Do you really wanna poke the bear?"

"Do you really wanna use that analogy?" Leo asked, leaning towards Perry.

"Shut it, Dooley!" Perry snapped, her expression hardening. "I've been working out. Don't make me flex my guns." She then turned back to the bionic siblings, her eyes narrowing. "You three are in big trouble."

Bree flashed a confident smile. "Actually, we're not, cause we have a note from our dad." She said, holding up a note. "He signed it and everything."

"With his name." Adam added, pointing at the note.

Principal Perry grabbed the note and read it. "Oh, well, I'm sorry. My bad. That changes absolutely nothing!" She tore the note to shreds and scattered it on the floor. "Just because your dad lets you cut school doesn't mean I have to. Somebody has to be the disciplinarian. It's like I tell my cats..." She let out an angry hiss. "See you three in detention."

With that, Perry strutted away with a smile on her face.

Chase scoffed. "Great. We miss school for a mission and get punished. This isn't fair."

"No, it' really isn't." Leo said, shaking his head.  He then casually hooked his arm around Harper's. "Well, you guys have fun."

Harper glanced back at the bionic siblings, her eyes apologetic. "I wish I could help you, but it feels like if I tried, I would also get detention. Sorry, guys, detention is like school jail."

After school, Harper stayed behind in the Lab, helping Leo with the summary reports while Adam, Bree, and Chase served their detention. They worked steadily and efficiently, completing the reports quickly.

Once they finished the reports, but the moment they completed the last one, they wasted no time in heading over to Mr. Davenport's side. He was focused on his work, his back to them, tinkering with something by the capsules.
