When school started on Monday, Harper went to her locker and put her bag inside. While organizing her locker, a pair of hands wrapped around her waist and lifted her off the ground.

She squealed with laughter as she tried to get Chase to put her down, but he just twirled her around, holding her close to his chest.

Some students stared but neither of them cared.

Chase and Harper were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they felt after their kiss. Despite being friends for a year, their relationship took a sudden turn from friendship to something more.

Once everyone found out they were dating, the reactions were all the same: 'finally', 'about time', 'it was painful to watch'.

"Okay, okay, you can put me down!" Harper giggled joyfully as Chase chuckled and carefully lowered her back to the ground.

They shared a smile before she hugged him, feeling his fingers tracing small circles on her back.

Harper then pulled away and kissed Chase, savoring the moment as he gently cupped her cheek, desperate to take as much of her in as he could before first period.

"You two are so adorable!" Bree gushed as she walked up to them holding books. "But maybe tone down the PDA a bit."

The new couple blushed and separated awkwardly.

Harper gave a tight smile. "Sorry, Bree."

"Hey! Wilson, Hansel and Gretel." Principal Perry called out as she walked over to the three teens. "My niece is visiting from... um... wherever she lives, and I'm gonna assign you three to be chaperons for a couple of days."

"Oh, uh...." Bree hesitated.

"Well, see, I can't..." Chase started, adjusting his satchel.

"We are so sorry." Harper apologized.

Principal Perry laughed. "Oh, that's so cute! You think you have a choice!"

"But why would you want us to show her around? You can't stand us." Bree pointed out.

"Oh. You've noticed." Perry said gratefully, placing her hands over her heart. "Look, my niece is sweet and innocent. If she hangs around the cool kids, they'll corrupt her. That's why she's hanging with you. If it's unclear, let me spell it out. You're not cool."

"Hi, Aunt Terry!" A squeaky voice called out.

Harper turned around to see a girl with medium-length hair, bangs and glasses smiling at her aunt.

"Kerry, darling!" Perry greeted with a smile. She gestured to the three teenagers. "This is Harper, and.... uh.. gimme a second...Kevvvinnn.... Suzzzzannnn...."

"Bree and Chase." Bree corrected.

Perry giggled. "No one really cares."

"Nice to meet you! I'm Kerry Perry!" She introduced, shaking Bree, Chase and Harper's hands. "Thanks for showing me around. I hope it's not too much of a bother."
