In the Lab, Mr. Davenport was leading the bionic siblings through an important mission briefing. Leo stood proudly holding a tablet, while Harper hovered beside him, clicking through slides on a presentation. Adam, Bree and Chase stood close by, all trying to pay attention—but it wasn't easy.
"Guys, I need to prep you for a very important mission, and to demonstrate, Leo-" Mr. Davenport began, but his words trailed off as Leo quickly interjected.
"Anh-Danh. Mission Specialists Dooley and Wilson." Leo corrected with a flourish, clearly excited about their newly assigned titles. "Will be adding a little more audio-visual 'prizazzle' to the usual snooze-fest."
With a swipe of his finger across the tablet, Leo made the monitor explode into a dazzling firework show, much to the confusion of the bionic siblings and a visibly frustrated Mr. Davenport.
"Hey, we are mission specialists now, might as well bedazzle the presentation." Harper chimed in with a smirk.
Mr. Davenport rolled his eyes and refocused back to the bionic siblings. "Tonight, I'm sending you to gather intelligence."
Chase grinned at Adam. "Oh, you hear that, Adam? You'd better bring a big basket."
"Leo." Mr. Davenport called, pointing to the monitor. "I was satellite-scouting industrial sites when I found this warehouse that I think is a front for environmental criminals. See these barrels? They're full of toxic chemicals. They're expensive to dispose of properly, so they're probably just gonna dump them into the sea."
"Which could harm ocean life and obliterate the coastline." Leo added for extra impact.
The team's attention quickly shifted, though, when Bree's laughter broke through the tense atmosphere. She was on the phone, clearly amused by whatever was going on on the other end.
"Owen, you are so sweet." Bree giggled. "Yes, I will 'Bree' your valentine." She looked over to the group. "See, he took my name and-"
"Yeah. We got it." Chase interrupted dryly.
"Even I got it." Adam added, though it was clear he was still confused. He turned to Leo and Harper for clarification. "I didn't get it."
Harper pursed her lips, then patted Adam's shoulder. "It's okay. You don't have to."
"What is going on?" Mr. Davenport asked.
Adam groaned. "She's talking to Owen again."
"He's an artist, and he claims that Bree is his muse." Chase clarified.
"Well, I for one, am not a-mused." Mr. Davenport stated. Leo clicked the tablet and played the wah-wah-wah tone. "Gimme that!" He snatched the tablet from Leo's hands and handed it to Harper. He turned to Bree, whose attention was still on her phone. "And you, off the phone."
"Ugh! Fine." Bree groaned, turning off her phone. "Just tell us what you invented, what went wrong, and how long till it blows up."
"Look, the police cannot bust these guys without evidence, so I need you to sneak in there and gather samples. Show 'em the barrel." Mr. Davenport said, gesturing to a replica barrel that Harper uncovered. "Now, there's only one safe way to get the samples and Leo-"
