35: Chocoholic Serenade

"I have another surprise for you, Tengen-sama." You tell him, removing yourself from his lap.

"Oh? You mean that this isn't my gift?" He asked teasingly, whilst gesturing towards your sexy little kimono.

His words made your cheeks warm as you tried not to get carried away by his flattery, but gave him a kind smile regardless. It was nice knowing he love your outfit.

"Well..it is, but there's one more."

Tengen watches with interest as you strove towards the shoji and slid it open. You semaphore for something─or rather someone as Tengen's eyes widen when the Ninju walked in whilst carrying a seamless box with a red bow.

"ᴹᵘˢᶜˡᵉᵎ ᴹᵘˢᶜˡᵉᵎ" they chanted in unison, making their way towards their owner/master.

Closing the shoji, you happily made your way back to Tengen's side just as Ude and Mune gave the box to him.

"Well now, isn't this a flamboyant surprise!" Tengen muses, "have you guys been treating (Name)-chan well?" He asked.

✨ᴹᵘˢᶜˡᵉᵎ✨ They say affirmatively, whilst striking a flashy pose and flexing their muscles.

You giggled softly at the adorable display, before reaching to scratch one of them behind the ear, affectionately.

"Both Ude and Mune have been excellent helpers and been doing a great job at keeping me company." You explained.

However, Tengen looked at you in astonishment, "Ude and Mune? Y-you named them?!" He asked.

"W-well, I thought it'd be honorable for them to have names. It would've been weird just calling them Ninju, since it refers to them as a whole. So I named them individually." You say and glanced at him.

Your expression suddenly turned apprehensive as you felt your face flush red from embarrassment; thinking that he may have disapproved of you for naming Ninju.

"I-I hope you're not mad? I'm sorry if you don't appreciate me naming them." You say shyly, looking away from him.

Tengen's hand gently gripped your chin as he turned your face back towards him. You gasped softly seeing no anger within those beautiful pools of fuscia as he smiles at you lovingly.

"Mad? Why the hell would I be mad at you for being amazing?"

"W-what?" You blinked in confusion.

"I been trying to come up with names for Ninju every since I raised them! The reason I didn't bother is because they were so picky." Tengen explains.

"But, I guess it reflects on the owner.." He admitted and released an exaggerated sigh.

You couldn't help but give a soft laugh, since you already figured that'd the case.

"Anyways, what's in the box?" He asks, eyes lighting up like a child's during Christmas Eve as he gazes at the box.

"Open it and see," You smiled.

Not needing to be told twice, Tengen pulled the lid off and his eyes immediately widen to see it contained chocolates.

"(Name)-chan, you shouldn't have?" He smiles happily.
