Internally panicking, you desperately gripped onto the edge of the wooden door frame, abruptly halting Tengen in his step.

"Please, Tengen-sama, just listen to me!" You plead, refusing to let go.

"Why are you stopping me, huh?"

"I..." you tried to come with an explanation, "this is all moving very fast. I can't just run away with you."

"What'd you mean? Don't you want to be with me?" He asked, pulling you lightly, trying to get you to let go.

"Well, yes, of course I want to be with you!" You admitted, "I love to go with you, but─"

"Then quit fighting!" His snarl is guttural and deep, like thunder, as he lightly tugs at you.

Despite feeling the dull pain in your abdomen due to how you're positioned over his shoulder, you stubbornly refuse to let go.
