Chapter 27

Laurent's pov

My baby wasn't feeling good earlier when I left for the court, so I just picked her up some flowers and chocolate. I only stayed at the court for like 40 minutes because I didn't want to be gone too long. When I pulled up at home I seen Alicia's car, wasn't expecting her to be here. I walked in, went into the living room and Alicia was holding lizzie. She was crying so I walked over to her and sat the stuff down.

Me: Baby.... What's wrong?

She sat up and wiped her face... then she looked at Alicia.

Alicia: I'm gonna go.. call me later ok

They stood up, hugged then she left.

Me:Liz..

She looked at me..

Me: Talk to me baby

She sat down.

Lizzie:Laurent..I'm...I'm pregnant

My chest literally sunk in...

Me:P-Pregnant?

She shook her head.. I sat next to her and looked at the floor.. I've never seen myself with kids... at least not now. She started crying more and I grabbed her hands.

Me: Baby... baby stop crying.

I wiped the tears off her face.

Me: We'll be ok.. We'll get through this together.. everything will be ok.... I promise

She looks so hurt.. I love lizzie and I'll do anything for her.. even if that means getting myself prepared to become a father.

Me:I love you ok

Lizzie:I love you too

I held her, let her cry and she eventually got tired.

Lizzie: I'm going to take a nap..

Me:Ok baby.. I'm going to run to Larry's house real quick..

Lizzie:Ok

She gave me a kiss then went to the room. I left and came to Larry's house, I didn't see Alicia's car here so I'm sure he doesn't know yet... when he came to the door I just cried and he pulled me into a hug. I'm still in so much shock I can't even get my words together.... My girlfriend is pregnant.. there isn't many more things that can be said. He walked me into the house and I tried to calm myself down.

Larry: Lau what's going on?

I sat down and played with my hands..

Me: Lizzie...she...

Larry: Did she break up with you?

Me:no.. god no...

I hope for that to never happen.

Larry: Well what's going on that has you broken up like this?

Me:.. She's.. she's pregnant Larry.. lizzie is pregnant

He went silent then sat next to me.

Me:I don't know what to do Larry.. a kid?Je ne sais pas comment prendre soin d'un enfant. ( I don't know how to take care of a kid.)

I started back crying.

Larry: Lau..I know this is a big change for you.. but everything will be ok.

Me:Our whole life is about to be different

Larry:And it'll be for the better.. you both need maturing and this is what will make you more mature.

Me:I know but.. I didn't want a kid until I was 30 something Larry I'm only in my 20s
