First comes the cheering. Then comes the reality. Then came the confusion.

After the grievers were no more, everyone was happy about it. The cheers brought happiness and light to your eyes. Victory was near.

But at last, seeing the brave gladers sacrificed to the creatures brought a hazy sadness.

No one knew where to go. Everyone sort of just stood there, exhausted. You have a moment of silence for those who didn't make it through.

Someone had to say something. Minho, being the second leader, said, "everyone, follow me."

As you all followed him, Gally said to you, "I'm so glad my girl is okay."

You just smiled at him. You felt a sudden feeling of not wanting to be around him. You felt like he was now smothering you. Now was yet again not the time.

You and the gladers found yourself in an empty room. Almost empty. There was only a blonde girl in it. A very pretty blonde. She was flawless, and her cheekbones were even higher than Gally's eyebrows. She was about twenty seven or twenty eight. If she was any older, she didn't have any wrinkles, that's for sure. Her dress was sophisticated; as tight like it was a part of her skin.

"Who are you?" Thomas asked her. His glare at her was totally on point.

"Wow. You're finally here." She said calmly.

"What?" Newt asked.

"I've. Been waiting for about 3 years for all of you. I'm very impressed." She said, crossing her arms.

"We want answers." Minho demanded firmly. You could hear the rage in his tone. This kid was not going to be fooled with, that's for sure.

"I'm sorry. I can't tell you much. All I can tell you is that you all have to stay here until... They say so."

"Who are they?" Thomas pressed.

"As I said, I can't tell you. You have to wait and see. I'm very sorry. Please don't get angry. I'm only the messenger, I did not create this." She still remained calm.

You all had no choice. You had to wait. In the most boring, lonely room you've ever been in. There was only another room to go in, and that was a giant storage room. You've had a lot of time to examine it, and nothing.

The blonde woman walks into the closet. A couple minutes later Gally walks in.

Is he... Cheating on you? You saw them exchanging whispers earlier but thought nothing of it. It was very clear to you now. You decided to ignore him. Thank God it's a big room.

Later, they both came out, but no one cared to ask. Everyone always occasionally cussed or complained.

Gally tried to talk to you. "Hey, Y/N."

You have him a blank look, and continued doing absolutely nothing.

"What? The isolation getting to you?"

You roll your eyes.

"Please talk to me." He says.

You look away.

"So... It must be nice to not deal with the constant humidity, am I right?" He said, desperately.

You give a plain shrug.

"Please talk to me."

You stare at him angrily and walk to the other side of the room. Maybe Chuck will be less annoying.

Gally catches up with you. Why can't he just leave you alone for now? It's not good to have him at your side literally all the time.

He takes your hand and leads you to the closet. You go just because maybe he wanted to apologize in private.

"What's wrong? You can tell me anything."

"Nothing. Just tired."

He looks at the floor, as if there were a puzzle there that he needed to solve.

"Look, I know something is wrong with you." He walks closer, and holds both your hands.

"I don't know if it's just boredom or lady problems, but I care about you.." He starts to kiss your neck.

You get filled with rage, and shove him away from you, and storm out of the closet.

The blonde woman shoots up. "You may leave now." She says.

"Um... How?" You ask.

She opens a door that looks like it was a part of the wall. Ugh. So stupid.

You all anxiously pass through it. Gally looks miserable. You don't need no man. You're strong on your own.

She closes the door behind you. You find yourselves in a big lab room and a video that says 'play'.

"Okay, before you play this I want to know why Gally was in the closet with the pretty girl." You regret opening your mouth.

"Oh... That. I swear it wasn't what it looked like. I can't tell you why now, but it will make sense soon. Please forgive me." Says Gally.

You just look away, even though you are being unreasonable, or overreacting. You feel slightly embarrassed.

There is an awkward silence. Then Thomas presses play. What you see horrifies you.

The whole thing makes sense, yet is hard to follow. It mostly fills you with anger. Anger you could only find deep down within your self.

It was almost hard to believe; the flare, the wasteland, the near extinction of the human race. It kind of makes you wish you never left the glade.

But now you still craved answers. Even though many were just answered; you all wanted to know about your families. And why the hell a maze would help this flare problem. In the video she briefly explained the maze and all that, but it still seemed idiotic to do this instead of protected the healthy and rebuilding civilization. What shanks. What idiots.

A guy came in. "You're all safe now. Just follow me."

Everyone exchanged looks. You followed. You literally have nothing to loose.

He leads you all to a helicopter. On the helicopter, he says, "we weren't expecting this many survivors. You all are very brave."

"Where are we even going?" Asks Minho.

"You'll see. But first, before we land, we have something important to tell Y/N."

Gally looks like he's about to burst into a million pieces of griever guts. Is this what the girl was telling him?

"Y/N, you are no longer needed for this expirement. You have 5 minutes to say goodbye to your friends, unless you choose to go through the pain and agony of the next trials. The next trials will be even harder than the maze and have the risk of a painful death. It's your choice. Safety or your friends."
