A wide smile form on my lips as I panted when I posed along side my members, as we finished our number one hit song of the year!

All of our hard works has finally paid off. Our group is now well-known, not just in Korea, but in the whole wide world!

Who would have thought that we'd make it this far?

I stole a glance on my members as I take in their reactions while watching the pink wave of the audiences.. our blinks!

I made it. My dream. With my members, we made it!

"The national world-wide girlgroup blackpink has risen as their hit song Ddu-du Ddu-du has reached billions of views on YouTube! Many fans, celebrities and co-idols have been dancing to the trend of their songs!"

I hugged my members as we listened to all the news about us.

"What can you say to your past self?" An interviewer asked. "If you ever meet her now, your past self, what can you say to her now that your dream has pave its way to come true?"

It was Rosé who first answered. "I think I'll tell her to just be brave and go on.. surprises will come in the future. Hang in there, little me!"

We chuckled at her enthusiasm.

Next is Jisoo Unnie. "Hi there. Always remember that as long as you persevere, as long as you know that you are doing your best, you'll get the best of everything. So.. always.. do your best." With a cute smile on her face.

Jennie Unnie flipped her hair as she looked at the camera. "I don't want to spoil you, Jennie Kim. Just look at me now, and think of what you'll be in the future." She winked.

Then the reporter looked at me for my answer. I nervously chuckle awkwardly... I.. actually don't know what to say to my past self. Q and A portion will never be my specialty!

Jennie Unnie passed me the mic and I held it as I try to composed an answer.

I thought of my younger self.

The one who dreamt of being here in Korea to train. And then, the one who trained and met my sisters-my members. Then.. the one who became a rookie idol. All of them had dreamt of sitting in this couch, being interviewed, about how they have achieved their long time dream. Being watched as they share the fruit of their success in the eyes and ears of many nationwide.

"Hey, Lisa.." I started. "Guess what? You made it."

My members stared at me in awe and I felt Rosé hugging my waist. The interviewer had a warm smile on her face as she looked at the four of us.

"Is it worth it being the girl group you are now? The fame?" She asked. "I mean.. at some point, you must have sacrificed a lot right. For example, your freedom. Your education. Diets?"

And of course, as the one who is holding the mic, I had to answer that one.

A small smile plastered on my face. Making sure not to make it to obvious that I'm uncomfortable to answer. "Yes. Yes it is all w-worth it."

I have sacrificed a lot just to get this far.

To live my hometown, my county for a different and stranger one is the biggest step that I bravely took. To meet new people, to adjust to my new surrounding. To train and strained myself at the process. To cry as I doubt myself more than twice a day as I train.. to constantly fight the urges to give up.
