CHAPTER 1
I walked out side with a backpack full of food blankets and other needed supplies.
I had to go. no more homecooked meals, no swimming, no non of that. I couldn't put my new family in danger. I had to run it was the only way i could keep them safe.
Right before I was about to go I head a cry.
"Jason please" my aunt mia cried, "don't go".
"He has to Mia" said Uncle Jack. she started to cry.
"thank you maybe someday I'll come back to you" I tell her to try to stop her from crying.
"I love you" she spit out.
"I love you too, both of you" I told them getting teary eyed.
"goodbye" they said and that was the last I saw them.
From there I walked down the street aways then veered into the woods where I went a lot as a child when I ran away. I walked slowly looking at he trees and all the memories that were down there. I went to the tree where I kept my 8 inch dagger. It was the last thing I had from my family and as I recall its been in my family forever.
I soon got to the creek but something wasn't right. I could hear him laughing. He was so loud but at the same time so quiet. I sprinted away from there. It seemed that no matter how far I got it continued to get worse and I couldn't make it stop.
I fell to the ground grasping my ears and holding them tight, but I couldn't block him out. I was on the ground unable to get up. I struggled to stay awake. The threat of passing out lurked all around me.
I was just barely able to get a grasp and start pulling myself up when I saw him out of the corner of my eye. He was no more than 20 yards away. I finished pulling myself up and sprinted.
He was right behind me and gaining which shouldn't have been possible because he was walking. I kept running anyways. I noticed the forest ended 20 feet ahead. I could almost make it if I pulled through.
I broke out and played dodge a car on the highway and almost got ran over several times. I had no way of telling if he was behing me. I didnt dare look behind me in fear that I would get hit or even worse he could be standing there. I kept running till I got to the end of the highway.
I stopped for a second to see if I knew where I was. I had no idea so I decided to keep going on.
I entered a trailer park with at least 50 trailers and made it to about the middle when I saw her standing three and I froze because I didnt know her but she seemed familiar.
