Chapter 10

CHAPTER 10

I woke up over an hour late. I jumped up and ran to the training room. When I got there I noticed the room was empty. I turned around and tne pale white Engineer. "they aren't here, cancelled practicenfor the rest of the day" he told me then walked away without giving me time to answer.

I ran back to my room and shut the door. I turned on the tv and started flipping through the channels. After a while I decided to go to the cafeteria. When I got there I notticed it was completely empty. I couldn't decide whether or not I was dreaming. I went back to my room and from there I walked to elliots door in the bathroom. It swung right oped but he was no where to be seen. I tried to text him and amanda. No answer.

I then walked around the ship till I saw an open hatch. when I walked down the ramp I saw everything. they were all in a giant clearing playing games, eating, and having fun. I ran up to Elliot and yelled "what the heck, I thought you guys where all missing". "we didn't want to wake you" He responded. "well next time you can" I hissed.

Then Kane came up to me. "just in time for dodgeball, you can be on elliots team" he said cheerfuly. "no, I wanna be againt him" I said atill glaring at Elliot. "uh, ok" Kane said looking between us to see what was wrong, "if you want to". "I do" I answered coldly.

The teams were set and every felt uneasy. We all stood there looking at the other team. They were all scared. Except for me. "go" yelled Kane. I ran forward and grabbed the first ball I could get. I threw it at some girl and she flipped back on to her back. I got a few othera then started enjoying it and Then I relized I was missing my true target. I turned toward Elliot and eyed him.

I threw the ball and it whizzed straight pass his head and smashed into Amanda causing her to go flying back. "its on" Elliot hissed. we threw and dodged getting everyone else out. I almost hit him when he ducked. "I will not lose until I have destroyed you" I said letting all my anger unleash. I was done with people trying to protect me. I could take care of myself.

Half an hour later me and Elliot were still going at it until I threw a ball and it smashed him in the face. He jumped up and ran at me. "what are you gunna do" I spat. then he jumped on me.

We rolled aroung throwing punches. "stop it" yelled amanda. "listen to her" agreed kane trying to pull me off before I killed him. "Leave, go, all of you" yelled kane to te rest of the people watching us. "now what is all this about" kane asked no he didn't ask he demanded. "giving them watched and crap amd then they ignore me and you didn't bother to wake me up or leave a not, I thought you were all dead" I yelled. "I didn't mean for that" cried elliot "i'm sorry". "I guess I forgive but dont hink this is over" I replied.

"oh my gosh, Jason your forehead" shrieked amanda. I then noticed that I was bleeding. I didn't notice because of all the dirt. "bring them to the nurse and then all of you get some rest you leave at 10:00 am" ordered Kane.

We got to the nurse and I got a bandage around my head. Elliot got a few band aids and a Tylenol and he was good. We walked out and went to our rooms. I sat down on my bed.

I turned the tv on but muted it when amanda came in."you do know he really is sorry right" she said. "ya but still he pounced at me a tackled my to the ground" I replied. "he did over react but you almost gave me a concusion" amanda reminded me. "yeah, and sorry about that" I answered. "well I got to go" Amanda said. "bye" I answersd as she walked out my door.

Tommorow I started a journey I might not make it back from. I sleep in my bed that night knowing that this was the last time for a while that I would sleep so comfortable. I closed my eyes and concentrated on all the good in life. Then sleep took me and I was gone.
