The Last Cure

Chapter 15

CHAPTER 15

I flew backwards and landed on my butt, although I was pretty sure nothing broke this time. I ran over to Amanda and she was unconscious. Other then that she was fine. No signs of broken bones or any bleeding. "Alex are you ok" I yelled. "yea I'm fine" he yelled back.

Just then there was an explosiom 100 meters away. "get on leo and lets go" I yelled above the noise. "help me with Amanda" he yelled back. We both picked her up and set her on leo.

I yelled for leo to go and we flew above the woods and saw several metal ships blasting away. There were about 12 in total. fire bombs flew past our heads and exploded in the air. I flew us between two of the ship and one of them got hit and it flew down and smashed into the forest. We kept flying toward the mountians. We flew down in between building of the town we stayed in the other night. The hotel was in ruin and the wallnwas blasted to peices.

We found the hole the monster made and flew into it. There were marble stairs leading into a never ending black tunnel. Leo pulled back as if he didn't wanna go. "come on boy" I wispered. He grudgingly continued down through the tunnel. "where do you think this goes"alex asked me. "I'm hoping to his layer" I replied then we heard Amanda groan. "Amanda are you ok" I asked. "Kinda of but I'm going back to sleep" and with that she was gone again.

We continued down the tunnel until we got into a giand spere room carved from granite. "seems like a good place to set up camp" alex said. "I don't know, it looks a little too perfect" I replied. "we dont know where another good place will be and we can't travel much farther" he brought up. "I guess your right, theres no point in going any further" I answered. With that we began setting uo the camp and everything else we needed too.

I made a small fire moatly because I didn't know how well a big fire would do in a small cave. I left alex with the fire and walked to the edge of the wall. It was quite damp. I walked around till I got to the doorway we came in. I looked back through it.

I continued walking until I got to the other doorway. It looked dark and empty. I began to get really tired and just sat down by the doorway. After a few minutes I dozed off.

I woke up a few minutes later and relized something wasnt right. The cave area had become an underground village and it was on fire with , y friends somewhere in there.
