The Last Cure

Chapter 6

CHAPTER 6

I woke up in a hospital with machines surrounding me. I didn't know where I was. There was a man with black hair and pail skin with bags under his eyes and a women with green eyes and blonde hair conversing over by a black cart.

"hello, where am I" I weakly yelled to them.

"oh, your awake" the women answered.

"come with me," said the man "they have been waiting for you"

We went down a hall and made a turn to go up a flight up steps. We walked over to a door and the man punched in a code. It opened into a room where a large group of people were sitting around a mahogany table. With them was Elliot and Amanda.

"here you go sir" said the man then he was off.

"Hello Jason" said an old man at the head of the table. he had bags under his eyes but was in fairly good shape. His white hair in a crew cut and a goatee.

"who are you" I asked.

"why, I'm your grampa" he replied.

I stood there for a minute. Our eyes locked.

"arent you gunna give me a hug" he asked.

then I ran up and gave him a hug. He hugged me back and let out a tear. I knew him. I don't know from where or when but I did.

"I thought my family was dead" I choked out between the tears.

"I'm still here for you" he said,

"now you can sit next to me". He motioned me to sit in an open chair next to him.

"now do we have any leads" my grampa asked the group.

"leads on what, how long have I been out" I bursted out.

"where talking about what to do with Annie, oh and you've been out for 2 days" Amanda answered me.

"why didn't you wake me" I yelled in out rage, "we could've found her by now".

"it wasn't worth it, too many expenses but we have found out where she was being held and can send you there as soon as the ship is ready" said a women in a black pan suit.

"when will it be ready" I demanded. "tomorrow at noon by the earliest" said my grampa "this meeting is over, now come on Jason I will show you to your room".

He led me to and elevator then we went down 3 floors. We walked down a hallway and stopped a few doors down.

"so where is this place" I asked.

"in a mountian, on an island, thats on the equator" he answered

"dinner is in an hour, I'll send Elliot to get you".

"ok" and with that I went into my room. It was nearly as glamorous as my room on the hovercraft. There was a bed, dresser, chair, and t.v. and that was all. I jumped o the bed to find it was way cumfier then it looked. I layed down just to fall asleep.

I woke up to a knocking on the door.

"Time for dinner" Elliot voice mufled through the door. I walked over and opened it.

"lets go, im starving" I said.

We went to the elavator and went up 2 floors. Then we walked down a hall where we came to some double doors.

"right in here" Elliot said to me.

The cafeteria was huge. There where rows of tables and tons of people with uniforms on and suits. There was a giant board flashing with the menu and specials.

"where do we go" I asked. "this way, follow me" said elliot. We went to a place that's sign said EVERYTHING CHICKEN.

"you can get anything that envolves chicken here, I really like the popcorn chicken but you can get what ever, oh and heres your card use this to buy"

he handed me the card anc I let what he said sink in. I got some wings and sause with some mountian dew and followed Elliot to a table where Amanda was sitting.

Amanda had a salad and water. We sat down and began eating.

"so do you like it here" Amanda asked.

"yea, its cool" I responded.

Then elliot looked at her and laughed. They looked back at me and a gave a nevous giggle. then the whole cafeteria went silent just befor the ceiling exploded.
