Chapter 12

CHAPTER 12

I woke to a loud shriek. I woke up leo and we flew down to camp. Up on arriving I saw amanda staring at me cross. I walked over to her. "uh hey" I said. "hi, hi, thats all you say I thought they took you or killed you and all you have to say is hi, elliot is out there looking for you " she screamed at the top of her lungs. "I'm sorry, I just wasn't thinking" I stuttered. "damn right you weren't" she said crumplimg into my arms crying.

When I finally got her to stop crying and calm down we called elliot. "hey elliot" she said "I found Jason". "where was he" he yelled through the watch. She told him about waking up and taking leo for a ride to a mountian.

After that we hung up and packed everything up. We hopped on leo and flew towards Elliot. "so, how long have you and Elliot been toether" he asked. "about a year" she answered. Just then a figure landed infrknt of us. It was a pale white boy with black hair and emo bangs although he was in a dark brown cloak. He held a bow and arrow to our face. "are you Jason" he said. "yea" I answered. "I'm alex" he answered. He stared at us for a minute.

"your friend is hurt, come with me" alex finally said. He took of. We followed him to a smot where a ladder dropped down infront of us. We looked up and saw a city in the sky. Wooden huts with rope bridges covered the canopy. there were about 10 or 12 buildings.

"come on" said Alex. "ok" I said and we flew up and landed on a board walk around one of the buildings. A bunch off people ran up and began to yell at us. They kept telling us to get our beast off and to leave then a loud booming yell "QUIET" silenced them. And old man walked over toward us with alex. "hello, are you here to see your friend" he asked. "um uh yes" I stuttered. "hmmmn, ok follow me" he said.

We went over a walkway and into a room where he was lying on a bed with wires attached all over him. The out side may look like huts from before jesus but the inside was almost as hight tech as us. "is he gunna be okay" I asked. "we don't know if we can cure the disease but we are trying everything" the old man told me. "wait we can, let me go find Amanda" I said.

I went out and ran to the dragon where amanda was sitting, "I need the cure, NOW" I said. "what, why" she stuttered at me shocked. "Elliott's deasise is uncurable this could cure it" I screamed. She looked at me then toughed her neclace the the vile apeared infront of us. I grabbed it and we both ran into the building and over to elliot.

"drink this open your mouth come on" I said to Elliot. He seemed to respond and opened a little. I poured until I hit the first small mark. He began to shake. "oh my gosh, we killed him" shrieked Amanda. "uhhh ummm" I said. then he stopped and layed there for a second. Then he sat up. "hey guys" he voice said scrachting his throat. "we can go, we have to if you want to stay on time" amanda said. "no, you must go but hes too weak, Alex will go with you" the old man said. "but we..." I began. "no you must go now" he interrupted. "he's right" Elliot said,

We walked out of the room and got Alex. "uh, hey bro so the old man told us that you were to come with us" I told him. "ok, let me get my stuff" he said going into another building.

He came out a minute later with his stuff in a bag slung over his shoulder. "I'm ready" he said. Then we took off into the woods.
