The Last Cure

Chapter 16

CHAPTER 16

I ran through the village heading straight toward the fire. Thousands of people ran past me in the other direction. I ran into the middle of a group of burning buildings. "Alex, Amanda anyone" I screamed. "hello" I heard a weak yell that sounded like Amanda. I ran into a building, It was an inferno of fire and smoke. I dodged falling debris and ran over to them.

"Amanda whats wrong" I asked. "Alex is stuck under the pile of debris in the tent" she coughed out. I called leo and he came smashing through the roof of the ware house. I jumped on his back and I grabbed Amanda. We flew on to a roof a few doors away from the fire. "Stay here I'm going to get Alex" I told her. I flew leo down into the Inferno and looked at the debris. Then I had an idea. I grabbed the necklace from my pocket and pushed a button. My Guitar came out.

I knew I would regret this but I began hitting the the fallen boards and wood with the guitar. I Destroyed the guitar but I got to the tent zipper and unzipped it. I pulled out Alex. he was bleading in several places and his foot was probably broken. I layed him on Leo and we flew out and over to Amanda.

"his foots broken what should we do" I asked. "fly him out" she said "theres gunna be no help here". I pondered this for a minute then climed on leos back. "lets go" I stated. We climed on leo and saw a big hole on the other side of the cave village. We flew in that direction and into the hole.

We kept flying until we say a hole with light at the end. I flew us out of the cave systen and into the light where we landed in the middle of the field and we noticed the hole in the ground was gone.

"where the heck did the hole go" I asked. "not the time jason" Amanda screamed "we need medical supplies quick find some". I dug around through some medical bags I got from my neclkace. I found a splint and some bandages and insta heal pills.

"will these work" I asked. "yes, now just give them to me NOW" she yelled. I let her work on Alex as I began setting up a tent. I just finished the inside of it whem I heard Alex mumble. I thought maybe he was trying to tell us something.

I was just about to ask him to repeat his mumble but a giant rock smashed the tent.
