The Last Cure

Chapter 7

CHAPTER 7

They flying beastes were back.

"what are those things" I yelled.

"phantom beasts, they look strong but whith one hit they turn to dust" elliot responded.

"guys , follow me" Amamda yelled. we ran down through a hallway and flew into an elevator and from that walked into a hanger.

"the ships ready we can go now" Amanda said.

We climbed aboard the ship I saw the rest of the cre onboard plus a few swordsmen, archers and gunman. Yhere were around 20 of them. we took off and behan flying upwards when the beasts began to attack the ship. I ran at one and plunged my dagger into its neck and it turned to dust. Arrows flew overhead and hit monster afer monster but these weren't regular arrows.

"what kind of arrows are those" I yelled to elliot.

"poison arrows" he yelled back.

We continued fighting off the beasts when all of a sudden a hybrid liom dragon hit the ship. It started to blast fire at us.

"archers fire" Elliot commanded.

They shot volleys of arrowsat it but they bounced off harmlessly.

"elliot he has scales those arrows won't do anything" I yelled.

"the chinck on his neck, Jason stab him there while we distract him" Elliot scremed back.

As the continued assult of arrows at the lion dragon raged on I snuck up behing it and jumped of his back. The dragon then flew into the air and spun aroumd to go flying back at the ship.

"whoa, go up stop it" I commanded it, "ignore the man telling you to destroy us your better then him".

Then the dragon lion landed of the ship and flew me off. I stood up and it came bounding over and laid next to me.

"lookes like you made a friend" said Elliot.

"ya, I guess I did" I responded.

"oh and whats its name name" Amanda asked.

I looked at the dragon for a minute and thought.

"leo, I like that name fits him well" I told her.

We then noticed that the phantom beastes where gone. Kane walked our looked puzzeled at leo.

"um, where should leo go" I asked,

"who's leo" he asked.

"him" I said pointing to the dragon lion.

"fly him down to the bottom hatch where usually rescued ships go but there should be enough room for him" kane responded.

I flew him down there and he fell asleep on the ground. The place was hude the whole bottom of the ship was a giant floor with two giant haches on both sides. there where two smaller ships down there, probably for emergencys.

I stayed until leo was asleep then went up the stairs and down every hallway till I found them all in the cafeteria.

"hey, elliot whatcha guys doin" I asked.

"getting a snack since we didnt finish dinner" he responded,

"you want some".

"no, I'm not hungry" I aswered him.

we sat down there and did some small talk.

Then kane came over the speakers "we'll be at our destination in 3 days untill then train and make your self at home".

With that me and elliot walked up the stairs and to our rooms.

"so how long have you and amanda been together" I asked.

"about two months" he answered. and the rest of the way was silent.

we said good night and went into our rooms. I pulled my shirt of and jumed into bed. My iphone was on my night stand so I decided to go on instagram before I went to bed. I was going through my news feed when I found my self falling alseep. So I decided to go to bed and push my worry over till tommorow.
