The Last Cure

Chapter 3

CHAPTER 3

I walked in and saw a boy about my age standing there. He had sandy blonde hair and glasses covering his bright blue eyes. He wore a Panic at the Disco shirt and black jeans.

"so, you must be Jason" he said "well your gunna love the ship"

"um, ya but, uh" I stuttered.

"hey Elliot" Amanda said interupting me. He gave her a goofy smile then ran over to her and gave her a kiss.

"I missed you its been too long" she said crying.

"I know never again with they take you away from me" he responded to her affectionately.

"um, where should I go" I asked inturupting them.

"wha- oh right come with me I'll take you to your room" he replied snapping back to reality.

"uh ya ok" I replied feeling stupid as ever.

We walked down the hall going past about 10 doors on each side. At the end of the hallway there were double doors open with rows of tabels like somekind of cafeteria. After that we continued down another hallway. Then we went into an elevator at the end of the hallway.

"so, um, what do you call this place" I asked.

"home or at least it has been for the last month" he answered.

"why have you been on this ship for a month" I questioned.

"we've been looking for you of course" he said as if it was an obvious answer.

"whats so special about me" I ask.

"you really don't know, well you'll figure out soon" he replied. we starred for a minute then continued down the hallway.

We went part way down then made a left turn into a small section of a nother hallway. We finally stoped at a door with the a bronze plate and the name Jason Denarii inscribed on it.

"why do you guys think thats my name" I asked getting tired of the same mistake.

"sorry we will get it fixed soon" he promised. I hate promises. Everyone promises me things and then leaves. Thats why I have trust issues.

"I'll send someone for you soon" and with that he left leaving me in my room.

My room was huge! It had a flat screen tv and a king sized bed. I had a small kitchen and with further inspection had all my favorite foods. There was no windows but the room didn't seem to need them.

"hello" said a voice causing me to jump into the air.

There was a hispanic girl with dark brown eyes and black hair.

"uh, hi are you Annie" I asked.

"yes, thats me" she said in a giggly tone. It was then when I relized I loked like such a mess. My blonde hair brown from dirt. There where scrapes and bruises down my body.

"uh, so do u live here" I stuttered out.

"For now but its not as cool as head quarters" she responded.

"uh, where is hea- " I started.

"TIME TO REPORT TO THE DINING HALL" elliot boomed over the loud speaker.

"I'll take you down but first take a shower" she said.

"where is it" I asked.

"the door next to the bed and your clothes are in your dresser, come to my room across the hall when your done" she replied to me.

"okay see ya" I respond.

With that she walked out of the room and across the hall. I went to the dresser and grabbed a My Chem t-shirt with a black sweatshirt and dark blue jeans. I was not sure how but those were all my clothes from my house. These people were starting to scare me.

I walked in to my bathroom. The shower was huge and there was a jacuzzi bath tub. along with that double sinks and a door at the other end this was obviously a shared bathroom so I decided to take a look at there room before I undressed. there were panic at the disco, paramore, and nickel back posters ever. I was pretty sure I knew whose room this was.

I left and locked the door behind me so he couldn't get in. I undressed and hopped in the shower. I was in there for about 15 minutes when I finished up and got out. I pulled on my clothes and walked out with only socks on. I walked over to the small fridge and pulled out a Mountian Dew. I chugged it down before headed to my dresser where I saw my iphone and headphones put them in my pocket and headed to Amandas room.

"are you ready" I asked into her room .

"in just a minute" she responded. Sure enough she walked out with a white skirt and black tanktop. Her hazel eyes sparkeled.

"lets go" she yelled as she grabbed my hand and skipped down the hallway.
