The Last Cure

Chapter 2

CHAPTER 2

She had stormy gray eyes and brown wavy hair that flopped a few inches below her shoulders. She wore shorts and a t-shirt. it wasn't any differant from any onther girl except for the fact that I swear I had seen her before.

She stared at me with a hardend expression. "so you're Jason Denarii" she said as if I was an unamusing prize. "uh, ya but my last name is stevenson not den-dena-dina whatever you said" I replied. "so your last name isn't Denarii" she asked as if it was a trick question. "uh, no" "hmmm, the old man was wrong, oh well should make for a great surprise" she stated out loud as if I wasn't there.

She then turned to her metalic watch on her wrist, then after pressing the screen a few times lit up. "Hey Elliot" she staed through the watch "bring the hovercraft around and pick up annie while your at it". "okay dokay" there was a brief moment of scilence then the talking continued "where is Annie exactly". "I think she 's with the aunt and uncle". "oh, well I'm on my way". "see you soon" she replied.

"so why exactly did tou come for me" I questipned. she whipped around to look at me as if deciding whether or not she trusted me. I stared back at her trying to make my glare look demanding. "we had too" she said agter a few minute of staring. "well, where did you come from" I asked still trying to get some kind of answer from her. "I don't see why you need to know" she snapped back. "because you brought me into this now tell me or, or I'll kill you" I screamed back at her. "oh yes I'm so scared, you don't even have a weapon" She retorted.

Then at that I pulled out my dagger and held it out. "omari, its your dad's old dagger thats its name" she stated "it said that the blood of your family allows you to see the future through it". "wha-what are you talking about" I stuttered "I've never seen the future, I'm not sure what your talking about but I assure you I'm not the person you guys want". "maybe, maybe not but we'll find out" she said. "What are you talking about" I asked. All she did was laugh. "I'm still the one with the weapon" I reminded her. "yes, I know" she sarcastically responded.

I just stood there trying to make sense of what was going on. This made no sense I was standing there with a weapon and she didn't care. I decided to shake this. "why are you not scared" I ask before I relize what I'm actually saying. "because I know you won't do it" she responded as if it was a normal question she got asked. "how do you know" I retorted. "cuz' you've had plenty of opportunities and yet you haven't" she responded.

While trying to figure out how to respond to this a giant metalic object came floating down through the sky. "what is that" I asked. "our ride" she responded.

The closer it got the more I relized how it looked. It was in some kind of boat form with giant wings and boosters on the back. It had to be at least 4 stories high and around 250 meters long. It had circular windows about a foot in circumference. It had guns all around and ports with bastilles coming out.

I looked back up noticing that it showed no sign of slowing down. "tell it to stop it's gunna crash into the trailers" I screamed. "oh shut up, do younreally think we are that stupid" she yelled back. Immediately I turned away and scolded my self when I turned back around I noticed it was hovering 30 feet above the ground. "told you, and besides it doesn't even land it hovers" she smirked "well come on we got to go".

With that we ran to the ship weaving between trailers and grabbed on to the ladder. We began pulling ourselves up the ladder and up to the hovership. We finally got to the topped and went through the door.

Sorry not to good of a cliff hanger oh well. I'll try to have chapter 3 done by the end of next friday!
