-Author's POV-

Morning rises with gleaming rays, they seep through the floor length windows exposed from its curtain bearings. It skids along the hardwood flooring, gliding and swaying it's way to the hidden teen in the depth of her dreams.

The yellow waves cast along her closed eyelids, waking her up instantly.

She smiles to the blinding gleams.

The sun was her star during the days of sunshine; it followed her and leached into her soul; lighting up her entire mortality. When the sun diminished into yesteryear, the twinkling stars guarded her during the dark nights.

Madison was a hopeful teen, she believed in good and the only evil she ever thought existed was the person who inconsiderately gave her away as a child. How could someone give away their own flesh and blood? She'd constantly think.

She stretches her limbs, rolling around the bed with a smile that never seemed to disappear when she was in this home.

She loved it here.

With caution; she opens her eyes and takes in the light still imposing its light through the great windows.

Madison's peaceful morning is short lived as her cellphone blares loudly; it alarms her.

Mum

She smiles and accepts the call instantly.

"Hello?" She croaks.

"Goodmorning," Clara greets her daughter, a smile voicing through her tone.

"Goodmorning." Madison shuffles up, and lays her back against the cushioned headboard.

"Sleepwell?" It's awkward, and the teen can feel it.

Clara had a lot of making up to do.

"Yeah, it's nice here." The teen smiles "I think you and Dad will love this house actually, it's bigger than ours." She giggles.

"Looks like we'll have to go house hunting," Clara joins in with her daughter's giggles. "We can't have that."

"How are you?" Madison asks, her smile contently staying in place.

"Good.. How are you?"

"Amazing-"

"Wow, must be really good then?" Madison nods and sighs happily.

"Life is good right now," She admits. "It's really good."

"I'm sorry." Clara whispers, "I apologize for speaking to you in such a vulgar manner."

"Mum-"

"No sweetheart, a woman should never speak in such a foul attitude." Madison mentally takes note of her Mum's words. "Let alone speak that way to my daughter, it wasn't your fault and I'm sorry I said that."

Madison smiles.

"It's okay Mum, It's fine.. You didn't mean it. I'm sorry I sang, what I sang." She shrugs.

Her fingers subconsciously trace the feather stuffed duvet.

"I'm so glad you understand. You're growing into a mature woman."

Madison frowns.

"Still young Mum," She speaks babyishly.

"You're growing everyday, god, feels like yesterday we got you." Clara sighs from the other end.
