One week.
She hadn't spoken to Lauren since that night but she'd watched interviews of the girls and she could spot immediately how broken and sad they all seemed and so did the fans.
Lauren and Camila were far from each other, barely looking at each other through any interview, and the others just seemed to have all life and colour drained from them, and they got even more depressed when they got asked about Charlotte.
"So how is she?" Chelsea asked.
"Charlotte? She's good, she's doing really well at the moment. She's actually staying with some people and she's loving it." Lauren forced a weak smile. "You guys must miss her huh?"
"We do," Camila began, "it's actually crazy how much of our happiness is affected by her. We really want her back home and cuddle to be honest." Camila said with a forced light smile. Chelsea nodded, and that was the end of that topic.
Charlotte was running around with Megan and Lydia at home. George and Madison were sat in the living room watching fondly as Charlotte laughed hysterically as the two girls tickled her relentlessly.
"Mercy!" Charlotte roared in laughter. The two little girls stopped and jumped on her as Charlotte calmed down, "I knew I shouldn't of told you were I'm ticklish." she panted. Megan and Lydia giggle as the stood up and grabbed a face pen. "Can you give us whiskers?" Lydia asked sweetly.
Charlotte nodded and sat up as she took the pen from Lydia's small hand. "Alright monkey, sit down." Charlotte smiled as she took the lid off and waited for Lydia to sit cross legged in front of her. Once she did, she drew a small black nose on the tip of Lydia's and gave her six whiskers before doing the same to Megan and then letting Megan give her the same. The three were soon giggling together and were somehow running around the house pretending to chase a mouse when the door went.
"I-I'll get it!" Charlotte laughed as Megan held onto her leg and Lydia hung onto her waist. Charlotte was laughing along with them as she struggled to get to the door.
She unlocked it and opened it, trying to hold in her laughter at her cousins, but once she saw who was stood there all the air in her lungs was knocked out and her smile faded.
"Hi Charlotte."
Lydia and Megan were now standing beside her, there giggling had stopped once they realised the tears in Charlotte's eyes. "Charlotte who is she?" Megan asked as she tugged on Charlotte's hand.
"L-Lauren? Wh-what, what are you doing here?" Charlotte choked out. It wasn't that she wasn't glad to see her, well, she wasn't sure what she felt but she knew this was to soon.
"Who is it?" George asked as he walked out of the living room. He stopped beside Charlotte and turned to see Lauren. "Ah, you must be Lauren, I'm George." He greeted as he stuck his hand out for Lauren to shake. "Why don't you come in,"
Everyone stepped out the way as Lauren thanked him and stepped inside, following George to the living room. Charlotte crouched down to Megan and Lydia's height. "You two go play upstairs, I'll be there in a while okay?" She asked quietly. The two nodded hesitantly, before hugging Charlotte and going upstairs hand in hand.
Charlotte took a deep breath and walked into the living room to see Lauren was talking comfortably with Madison and George about what appeared to be about Madison's rather large belly before they all noticed Charlotte.
Lauren turned and looked at Charlotte with a gentle smile, and Charlotte finally saw the dark circles under Lauren's eyes and how all the colour from her face was drained. She couldn't help but feel guilty, knowing that she was one, of not the whole reason behind it.
