Chapter 19

"Charlotte!"

Charlotte turned around to see a familiar blonde walking towards her. A large grin appeared on her face when she saw Taylor smiling and waving at her. She quickly said sorry to one of Camila's family members and ran towards Taylor grinning.

The two had met once she was back at home in L.A and no longer stuck in a hospital every day. The two had gotten rather close over the years and even though seeing Taylor was rare since she was practically dominating the whole world, the tall blonde spoke to her constantly via Tumblr.

"Hey Monkey!" Taylor yelled as she pulled Charlotte into a tight and warm hug. Charlotte eagerly wrapped her arms around Taylor's middle and smiled widely at the comforting feeling. "Happy Birthday!" Taylor said once they both separated. "Thank you," Charlotte said sincerely, "I can't believe you're here. I thought you were touring?"

"I am touring," Taylor answered, "but that isn't an excuse to miss your Birthday." Charlotte was still grinning and hugged Taylor again until Camila and Lauren came over.

"Taylor!" Camila said, "it's so good to see you!" Charlotte let go of Taylor to allow her Moms to greet Taylor in their usual manner. Taylor smiled at the two, "you both look amazing, and this is amazing." Taylor complimented. Charlotte was watching the exchange happily until she felt an arm slip around her waist. She jumped at the sudden contact but smiled when she heard Ivy's obvious chuckle. "Some one's a little jumpy."

"Well I wasn't expecting it, plus I thought you might be one of Lauren's relatives that I'm trying to avoid." Charlotte whispered as she spun around in Ivy's arms. Ivy smiled shyly at her, and Charlotte smiled back. "I love you..." Ivy whispered before brushing her nose against Charlotte's. "Good," Charlotte replied, "otherwise me loving you too would be a little awkward." Ivy laughed loudly and the sound made Charlotte beam, she felt so lucky to have her in her life and she couldn't imagine being with anyone else.

Their eyes locked again and the two just stared at each other lovingly. They didn't need to say anything, it was nice to just escape the loud party around them just stare at her beautiful girlfriend, though she was quickly torn away from her staring when Lauren called for her.

"Charlotte!"

Ivy pecked her lips, "As much as I like staring at you, your mom needs you."

Charlotte whined and kissed Ivy's cheek before turning around and finding Lauren with the rest of Fifth Harmony. Charlotte walked over to them. Suddenly, the fairy lights, that were keeping the garden lit up, turned off and everyone began singing happy birthday. A large grin spread on Charlotte's face as Lauren and Camila hugged her on each side. Charlotte gasped when she saw her cake. It was a four teared cake that had black finding all over it and looked like it had been splattered with paint. I was the best cake she had ever had and her smile got impossibly bigger.

Once everyone finished singing Lauren looked at her, "Make a wish baby girl." She said softly. Charlotte looked at the two candles on the top of the cake that were shaped as a 1 and 6. She took a deep breath before holding her hair back and blowing out the candles, making everyone clap and the lights turn back on.

She cut the first slice to see that it was marble cake, but before she could taste it, the slice was in her face and everyone was chuckling.

Fucking, Dinah.

Charlotte began laughing and wiped the cake off of her face and smothered it on Dinah's face. Dinah gasped and before Charlotte could tell what was happening, she and Dinah were under water.
