Charlotte ran her fingers through her hair as she watched Jax running around the small dog park with a few other dogs as Ivy threw his frisbee. She was on the phone to Gem who was having a small freak out about the competition on Saturday. Charlotte had explained over and over that of she worked on her strength and kept practicing she'd be fine, but Gem was adamant that she would fail.
"I can't help today, you know that." Charlotte stated as Gem begged her to come in and help. "Charlotte please! I need help!" Gem whined.
Ivy walked over with Jax on his leash. The pup looked exhausted and laid down the moment Ivy stopped walking, making Charlotte glad they took Ivy's car.
"I'll see Ok? I have to go now." Charlotte hung up and locked her phone. "Everything okay?"
Ivy asked as she untwined their fingers together and walked back to Ivy's car. "Gem is freaking out. She wants me to go in but I want to spend time with you." Charlotte explained as she squeezed Ivy's hand gently. "We could go in together, I haven't been for a while and I'm sure Chase will kick my ass for that." Ivy chuckled gently. Charlotte looked at her, "Are you sure? I'm going to be there for a while.""If I didn't know better I'd say you're trying to get rid of me." Ivy teased as they got to her car. "Not at all, I just know how much you dislike Gem because she asked if I was seeing anyone in front of you." Charlotte recalled the time with a smile plastered on her face. "All the more reason I want to be there." Ivy replied with a smirk.

To say Ivy was making sure Gem knew I was her Girlfriend would be the largest understatement ever.
She walked in with her arm around my waist protectively and then gave me the most teasing kiss ever before walking to where Chase was lifting. Gem was so painfully uncomfortable that I almost felt bad, but I did miss Ivy being so over protective with me, so I couldn't apologise.
Like I thought, Gemma's brain was making her over think everything and it was causing her to fail climbing the second over hang. I couldn't help her much with this though, arm strength I could but teaching someone to stop over analysing everything I had less practice in, also, I was getting a little distracted at the sight of Ivy boxing with her trainer Jim. She was only in basketball shorts and a sports bra and seeing her all hot and bothered was making me hot and bothered, and she knew I was staring because she would smirk at me aswell as wink, making me turn the colour of her gloves.
"I get it, you're in love or whatever, but can you help?" Gem snapped. I turned my attention back to her remembering we were half way up on a 30ft wall.
"Just climb to the top. Once you do it once it will be easier. We'll climb down after and then time it and we'll beat that time tomorrow okay?" I asked her. She nodded before focusing on getting higher.
"Would you of said yes to me if you weren't with Ivy?" Gem randomly asked once we got over the second over hang. I stopped climbing and looked at her incredulously.
"What? It's no secret I have a crush on you. I didn't forget that day." She shrugged. I was genuinely speechless. And it took me a few moments to answer her. "I have no idea."
It was true. The only reason I carried on dating Ivy after everything was because I have complete trust in her. She was there through it all and never rushed me into anything. After the kissing the first time she saw me out of my coma things took a bad turn. I'd barely let her hold my hand let alone touch me because I had a cryptic fear she only wanted sex whether or not I agreed to it. Not every teenager, let alone adult, could be in a relationship like that and be so patient and loving through it all. I have chronic fears about being intimate with Ivy after everything still, so how could I ever expect someone else to be as gentle as her? I like Gem as a friend, and like most of the world she knew that I was taken and severely abused for that time and even In the more distant past, but just because she knows that doesn't mean she'd be diplomatic about it, and also I would have to build trust with her. So I wouldn't know if I would of said yes, I couldn't imagine myself even starting here at the gym if I didn't have Ivy. I couldn't imagine not having Ivy at all.
