A few weeks later

She hadn't felt this happy in a long time.

Charlotte was relived to be leaving the hospital. Things had finally starting to smooth out for her in terms of recovery, and Cheryl saw no point in keeping her chained to the place if she was perfectly fine with the thought of leaving. So after her therapy session yesterday, Cheryl gave her the news.

"Really?" Charlotte squealed as she watched her therapist take out the forms from her binder that gave her professional consent to letting Charlotte be discharged whenever the doctors deemed her fit enough. Cheryl smiled and nodded, "Absolutely. You still need to attend therapy for your PTSD, but that can happen with you living at home and not in the hospital." Cheryl giggled as Charlotte began laughing with pure joy. "If you could just sign here, and then I'll take these to Lauren to sign okay?" "Yes!" Charlotte practically yelled before leaping forward and signing her name. Cheryl dismissed her followed her out of the room to find Lauren and to finally set her free.

Now Charlotte was in the middle backseat of Lauren's car and was watching the world zoom past in a colourful blur. She forgot what the outside world looked like. Everything was a pleasant orange and leaves were falling on the ground. It looked peaceful. It looked like a scene in a really sappy movie in her eyes. But it was a nice sight to go home with. Well, her new home.
Sighing in a relieved way, Charlotte focuses her eyes to the front of the car. Lauren was driving and Camila was sitting beside her in the passenger seat. The soft humming of Lana Del Rey was in the background and Charlotte smiled when she saw that Camila and Lauren were holding hands. It was the best thing to know that they were still as strong as ever, and that they both still loved one another as much as they did in the beginning. Charlotte looked down to see Jax fast asleep on her lap, being a German shepherd, he wasn't exactly small, but he was curled up like a little fox with his head resting on Charlotte's thigh as he snored a little. The drive was relaxing, and Charlotte was happy to put some miles between her and the hospital once again. She stretched as much as she could before resting her head to the side. "You tired babe?" Lauren asked, looking into her rear view mirror to make eye contact. Charlotte nodded and Camila and Lauren smiled. "We have a few hours. You can sleep baby." She heard Camila say softly. And that was the last thing she heard before falling to sleep.

When she woke up, Lauren was sat beside her in the car, gently brushing her hair out of her face. "Hi," she whispered sweetly, "we're here." Charlotte sat up at that news and took off her seatbelt. They were behind a huge building in the parking lot. Camila was letting Jax do his business on the large grass area beside the play park which was thankfully empty. "Ready to see our new home?" Lauren asked, pulling Charlotte's attention back to her. Charlotte nodded and got out of the car after Lauren. She was looking around once more when another car pulled into the parking space beside Lauren's. "ALLY!" Charlotte yelled happily as Ally stepped out of it. "Hi girly!" She yelled back before catching Charlotte in her arms as they hugged tightly. "Oh I see, no love for us then?" Charlotte heard Normani's and Dinah's fake angry voice behind her. Charlotte let go of Ally and turned to see the two pouting. "Well?" Normani fake scoffed. Charlotte giggled and ran over to the two, only to be picked up by them. "Guys! Be careful with her!" Lauren yelled protectively. Charlotte squealed when Normani spun her around.

"Yeah don't break her!" Ivy said.

Charlotte had never gotten out of Normani's grip so quick before. She dived onto Ivy and kissed her. "Well hello!" Ivy laughed once she and Charlotte's lips separated. Charlottes cheeks went red a little bit as she rested her forehead on Ivy's. "I missed you." Charlotte admitted. "ALRIGHT LETS GO IN!" Lauren yelled before Ivy could reply. Charlotte rolled her eyes and jumped off of Ivy before interlacing there hands. "I missed you too." Ivy whispered into her ear as they walked into the apartment complex.

The apartment was amazing.

It had the same cream and brown colour scheme as the old house, but it was a lot fresher. Everything felt impossibly more homely. Jax immediately ran to the the cream recliner and settled on it, growling a little when Dinah told him off for taking her chair. "More like my chair." Charlotte said to her with a slight scoff. "Yeah, only when you aren't with Ivy doing the nasty." Dinah said back, making Ivy and Charlotte go bright red and the others laugh. "Shut up..." Charlotte grumbled as she took Ivy's hand and walked down out the living room to find her bedroom.

"Oh wow..." Charlotte gasped as she found her room. It was still very tumblr, but not as messy as before.

She had a large bed that had white sheets and a small bedside table beside it and fairy lights above it, the floor was wooden with a dark rug above it, Jax's bed was by the foot of hers. Her walls were a very pale blue, her wardrobe, desk and draws were next to a corner shelf that had all her books and CDs on with fairy lights draped over it and her one plane wall had the world on it with the word 'explore' beneath it in cursive.
"This is amazing..." Charlotte said softly as she stepped inside and admired her new room. She felt Ivy squeeze her hand gently, prompting her to turn around and look at her. "I love you." Ivy said softly. Charlotte smiled and relished in the feeling of butterflies. "And I love you too." She responded truthfully before leaning forward and sealing their lips together.

Later that evening, everyone had gone home, meaning Ally, Dinah and Normani went to their apartments that were next door and Ivy was at home, Charlotte was stood in front of the mirror inside her wardrobe, looking at herself doubtfully. Tomorrow was the day she identified the men that now haunt her nightmares. Sighing, and knowing all to well that she wouldn't sleep on her own, she left her room and walked into Lauren and Camila's, finding them both in bed reading. Without a single word, Charlotte crawled between them and smiled when the two set down their books, turned out the lights and cuddled her, both wrapping their arms around her, until there was a knock at the door and the all familiar sound of Dinah, Ally and Normani. "Are you serious?" Lauren groaned.

"Move over Laurenzo!" Dinah yelled in warning as she jumped into bed beside her. "Are you fucking serious?" Lauren asked with a groan as Dinah hit her arm. "Language!" Ally scolded. Charlotte began to giggle at Lauren's pissed off expression.

"You all better go to sleep." Lauren warned. "Yes Mom." Normani rolled her eyes and pulled a funny face, making Charlotte break out into hysterics at Lauren's ever furious expression. Dinah began to laugh, then Camila who set off Ally and Normani. Lauren groaned bug couldn't keep a straight face. "You all fucking suck, you know that right?" She whined. Charlotte grinned, "you love us all though." Lauren smiled and kissed her temple, "Unfortunately."
