"I can't believe you! Why would you do this to me? You haven't fucking contacted me in months and all of a sudden you want to claim custody me? Fuck you!" Charlotte yelled down the phone before hanging up. It had only been a few days since she found out her Aunt and Uncle wanted to adopt her and she's only just got a hold of them. Charlotte threw her phone onto her bed before running her hands through her hair and tugging on it roughly, making her feel something other than complete hatred for the situation. She was tired of everything going wrong when things finally began to look up. The lump in her throat got bigger and bigger and no matter how hard Charlotte tugged on her hair it didn't distract her from the crushing feeling her whole body was going under, and before she could try and keep it together, she fell to the floor and allowed her sobs to flow freely from her mouth.

She was tired. She just wanted this to be over.

Camila walked out of her bedroom when she heard Charlotte's sobs echoing down the quiet landing. The whole situation was taking a toll on everyone and Lauren was slowly beginning to crack under it all. The older brunette was trying to stay strong for Charlotte and Camila, but it was proving more and more difficult as the days ticked by, and when she got a call from her Lawyer saying that the chances of her winning against Charlotte's Aunt was slim, she finally snapped and Camila was there to take the blow.

Camila wiped at her eyes as she walked down the hallway. She knew Lauren was finding this all incredibly difficult and that she shouldn't take what she said to personally, but having the love of your life scream and yell at you hurts, and Camila was hurting as it was.

She knocked on Charlotte's bedroom door before entering slowly. She saw Charlotte on the floor with her back against her bed, knees tucked into her chest and crying into her arms that were on top of her knees. "Baby girl..." Camila sighed sadly as she shut the bedroom door behind her and got onto the floor. Charlotte immediately crawled into her lap and continue to cry, "I don't w-want to go Mami," She sobbed, "I-I-I ddon't!"

Camila fought back her own fresh set of tears and began to rub Charlotte's back comfortingly with the tips of her fingers as she began whispering sweet nothings in to her ear as Charlotte cried and hung onto her. She couldn't find anything to say to her apart from "I know" over and over.

Charlotte's sobs eventually began to slow down and Camila realised that she had cried herself out. The teen sat up and looked at Camila with tired red eyes, "Cuddle me?" She yawned with a small pout. Camila chuckled and nodded, "C'mom, let's get you to bed then." Charlotte stood up and lazily and walked over to her bed before she got under her covers. Camila quickly joined her and wrapped her up in her arms before the two fell asleep, exhausted from the crying.

When Lauren walked back into their house, she immediately noticed how uncharacteristically quiet it was. Jax came trotting down the stairs and gave a soft growl in greeting before running into the kitchen. Lauren sighed and put her keys down before heading upstairs to Camila's room. She knew she shouldn't of yelled. And she felt terrible for it.

"Camz?" Lauren asked after she knocked on the bedroom door. She entered when she got no reply and saw that Camila wasn't in her room. Lauren quickly left it and went to her own to see that no one was in there either.

It wasn't until she noticed Jax pawing at Charlotte's door that she realised where she was. Smiling in slight relief, Lauren walked up to the door and pushed it open to see Camila and Charlotte curled up together and asleep in bed. They looked adorable and Lauren felt her heart swell and drop at the sight. They were her little family but the tear tracks on their faces made her heart break. She knew she shouldn't of snapped at Camila, and she shouldn't of walked out like that. This was stressing her out but the whole situation was twenty times worse for Charlotte.
