Chapter 9

Camila jumped up at the sound of screaming. Camila shook awake Lauren quickly. "Camz babe I'm tired..." Lauren yawned. The saying would usually make Camila blushed but she simply shook Lauren more. "Lauren I swear to God I just heard someone scream." This made Lauren sit up and rub her eyes in attempt to fully wake up. "Are you sure?" Lauren asked worriedly. Camila was about to answer when they heard Charlotte scream. "MOM!"

The two looked at each other briefly before saying, "Charlotte." and jumping out of bed and out of Lauren's room and down to Charlotte's room. Waking up the others on their way.

Lauren burst through Charlotte's door and onto her bed, only managing to see the silhouette of Charlotte's sobbing body. "It's okay, it's not real." Lauren tried. Charlotte was shaking her head rapidly. "No-no-no." Charlotte sobbed. Camila turned on Charlotte's fairy lights to reveal a large blood stain on Charlotte's sheets by her legs. Her hands were also covered and Lauren as well as the girls new what was happening.

"Oh baby..." Lauren said sympathetically. "It's okay, don't worry okay?" Lauren whispered as she pulled the cover away to see Charlotte's bed shorts were also covered in blood. "I need to get you in the shower okay? We need to wash you off." Charlotte was shaking and crying still as Lauren carefully picked her up. "Camz can you help?" Lauren asked. Camila nodded immediately and took Charlotte out of Lauren's arms and into the bathroom. "Shall I call the hospital?" Normani asked, Lauren nodded, "Yeah, I'll change her bed, can you two get some pads and a hot water bottle?" Lauren asked Ally and Dinah. "Of course, but we'll change the bed too, you help Charlotte okay?" Lauren smiled gratefully before going into Charlotte's bathroom and seeing that the younger girl was now vomiting. "Now that explains why she was sick yesterday" Lauren thought as she shut the door behind her. "Camz it hurts.." Charlotte whimpered. Camila sighed and rubbed her back. "I know it does sweets. I know." "Where's Lauren?"

"I'm right here." Lauren spoke as she knelt beside Charlotte and picked up small strays hairs that Camila had missed. "We need to get you washed up okay, then we need to go to the hospital." Lauren spoke carefully. "Lolo it's 2 am..." Camila whispered. "I know but I don't want to wait, the quicker we go the quicker we get back okay?" Charlotte nodded, knowing Lauren was right. She sat up slowly and regained her senses before standing up with the help of Lauren and Camila.

"I'll go get you some clothes okay?" Camila smiled softly before kissing Charlotte's head and leaving the bathroom, letting Lauren help with the cleaning process. Camila picked out Charlotte her girlboxers before lining them with pads, before grabbing her own Pizza sweater, Lauren's 'The 1975' tee, and Charlotte's favourite galaxy leggings. She helped Dinah and Ally change the bedsheets before going into the bathroom and giving Charlotte her clothes. "Why does my underwear feel funny?" Charlotte asked. "It's lined with pads. It's going to feel weird for a little until you get used to it." Camila replied. Charlotte nodded tiredly and allowed Lauren to help her dress before sitting on the toilet seat. "Mom I'm tired..." She yawned. "I know, but we have to go to the hospital okay?" Charlotte whined and shook her head. "I know babe, but we have to make sure everything's okay, okay?" Charlotte whimpered more. She was in pain and exhausted. She just wanted to get back into bed and sleep until a more godly hour. But Lauren wouldn't let her and that was upsetting her more than usual.

Lauren sighed. "Come on, let's get you into the car." She picked Charlotte up and ignored the weak protests as she carried her through the room. "Thank you guys." Lauren smiled happily at them all. "Do you want us to come with you?" Dinah asked. Lauren shook her head. "No that's okay, we shouldn't be there long." Lauren replied. "Sure?" Camila asked as she brushed her hand through Charlotte's hair, making the girl hide her face in the crook of her neck. "Sure." Lauren replied before kissing Mila's lips gently. A knock at the door told the girls that the ambulance was here. And soon Lauren and Charlotte were on their way to the hospital.
