❝SHANTEY❞
The skinny heel AMINA MUADDI ankle leather booties clicked along the floor as she walked the main floor hallway, carrying the eight-month-old in her arms. It was hours after spending a fun day with her kids at Universal Studios Hollywood and she was dressed and out the shower in preparation to leave in a few moments. She was lucky that the outing didn't involve cameras in her face and fans inquiring about pictures.Shantey loved her fans; undoubtedly. But when she was with her kids, she just wanted the attention to be on them and strictly them.
The public place was already nerve wrecking because it was the first time Shantey was out—other than making money on her tour. Even then, she performed her shows and went back to her hotel for that night or tour bus without accepting any after party events as she usually would do after shows.
Since the news broke about the DNA test, Shantey has been making it her business to steer clear of paparazzi and ending up in the media negatively. She had her fair share of years the blogs dragged her name through the mud and her only focus was her kids, her career, and new documentary in process.
Above her the boys played around, running on the second floor. Shantey called for her best friend and overhears her shout reply coming from the den that Amanda renovated into another playroom for the kids.
"Hey, Am-Cakes." Shantey greeted, walking down the one step into the den as her best friend just finished picking up the toys.
"Hey, mami. Little cutie pie!" Amanda squealed as she sat on the carpet, reaching for the eight-month-old and Shantey hand him over, then joined her best friend on the floor with her legs spread out. "Bouta leave?"
"In a little while. I gotta go to DMG. Gotta start working with Che on music. I want her to open up to me on the next part of this region tour and she can't just perform ❝Collide❞ all night."
"True." Amanda agreed while Azoni toyed with her necklace and leaning on her to stand and she held his back for support. "You never told how that conversation with Tae went yesterday. I know it didn't go good."
"It didn't." Shantey rolled her eyes, "He's acting just like Dave; putting all blame on me. He's gonna have the nerve to tell me that Boogie was living with him as well because he feels that he won't see him during the week with me staying out here and Boogie going to Jersey for the weekends. I feel like he about to try to fight me for custody and by this time he should. He want a fight, I plan to give him one. Seems like the calmer I get towards those mufuckas they push me in a corner as if they begging me to flip the fuck out."
