❝SHANTEY❞
♪ I have crossed the horizon to find you ♪
The song plays outta Seona's tablet, getting sung along with by the two-year-old and her mother.
Shantey stands at the sink counter, styling her curly mane in just a long sleeve bodysuit, fitting to her top half with a low rounded neckline. Seona sits on the sink counter, leaning back on her Mother with her tablet resting on her lap, playing the Disney animation film.
"I know you name," Seona sings, holding an adorable little tune. "You next, Mommy."
"They have stolen the heart from inside you," Shantey sings angelically.
"But this does nawt defon you." Seona sings her part, "Now boff us."
"This is not who you areee!" Mother and daughter sings in unsion, "You know who you areee!"
"I start it fwom the beginning," Seona restarts the movie on her screen.
"Nothing better than hearing both y'all singing," Tae brags, leaning on the doorway of the guest room bath.
"You not sing, Daddy."
Tae smacks his lips, faking a frown. "Stop playin wit my vocals. . You know who you areee," he sings in his low register.
Seona scrunches, giving a thumbs down. "Too low."
"You woulda been a great baritone," Shantey offers up.
Tae chuckles, "Y'all some haters. You getting all ready to go?"
"Yeah." Finishing putting her curly mane in a bun, she allows a few tendrils flow free against her cheeks. "Bouta leave here in a second. I gotta slip on my pants and shoes."
Seona sits up, allowing her Mother to slip on her cargo trousers in blue washed denim that rests below her waist and the relaxed legs detailed with multiple oversize flap pockets.
"I fuck wit those," Tae compliments her pants, "They nice."
"New to DÈXE APPAREL," Shantey offers a slow spin, "S&A Savvy Collection. The new product coming in December. We pushed it back to do it strategically. With volume one of Uncut coming out in literally five days, we wanted that to be the focus."
Tae nods, "Buttt, you finish off the tour in December and volume two comin out. Won't that outweigh the release of S&A Savvy?"
"I think so, too, but it'll just be more promotion for each one. These first three episodes I believe were the hardest ones for me to tape. I wanted those to have all the attention."
"Plus give a little push to everybody buying yo tickets." Tae chuckles, impressed. "That's good strategy. . Not gonna lie."
