❝Motherhood for me—❞There was a record scratch just when a child screamed. The scene flips to Shantey on the sofa of her home hearing the familiar yell. ❝Chile, hold on,❞ she stands, leaving the couch empty with her voice still heard from her mic pack, ❝We talked about the screaming, didn't we?❞
❝Cru keeps messing with me,❞
❝Tell him to stop or I'ma kick his ass.❞
❝You hear that! Mommy say stop it.❞
The mic shuffles as Shantey returns, ❝Aight, I'm back. Motherh—❞
❝Nuh-uh!❞ The singer's interrupted again, but this time by her second born that gatecrash the space, ❝Why you always believe him? I ain't do nothin. He in there messing wit me. I promise you he not all innocent like he claim.❞
❝Do you see what I'm doin?❞ Shantey pointed to the camera and Cru looked that way, ❝You interrupting me. You and Boogie. Both of y'all.❞
❝I'm on camera,❞ Cru posed, grinning at the camera. ❝It's ya boy C-double-B. Prince of Harlem, ya heard?❞
The production crew and Shantey laughed at him. ❝Bye, C-double-B. Get ya ass out. I gotta finish.❞
❝Lemme just say this, best Mother in the world,❞ Cru hugs her making every person behind-the-camera aw in unison. ❝I love you kid.❞
❝I love you,❞ Shantey replies, doing their handshake before he raced out and she put her attention back on the camera. ❝Clearly motherhood is chaos and nonstop. But I wouldn't ask to be anything else because motherhood is the best thing that's ever happened to me.❞
A vintage footage from 1998 of young Shantey and her sisters playing around in the front yard. The last born child was pushing her toy car towards the street on the driveway. ❝Taj! Don't ride out in that street!❞ Tansi commands behind the camera on screen.
Young Tajana giggles menacingly, scooting her car even faster and eight-year-old Shantey rushed after her and stops the car. ❝You heard GG! Get your bad tail off the bike.❞
