❝TAE❞
"𝙻𝙾𝙾𝙺 𝙰𝚃 𝚈𝙾𝚄," he smiled, entering the spacious kitchen of his Tuscany estate with his wife at the stainless steel range stove rocking a scoop-neck tank that hits right at her natural waist and breezy mesh utility sports shorts. Her curly ponytail shifts once she peers over her shoulder for a short moment before he embraced her from behind. "You up in here hookin' breakfast up for us."
"Good morning," she leaned back, kissing his lips twice, "Why not? Might as well since the kids are outta school today. They up?"
"All eight of em," Tae steals a smothered potato outta the pan before sitting on the large island. "You don't hear they loud behinds? How you feelin?"
"Still nausea," Shantey continued to cook, "Core water the only kind I can drink that doesn't make me wanna throw up just by the smell of it. I've only threw up twice since my fainting last week. So, that's some progress, right?"
"Yeah. But you do need to sit down." Tae stood off the island, "Come on. Sit up here; I'll finish."
"Cru likes my waffles...Baby," she giggles as he picked her up and sits her in his place on the island, "I still have a lot to make, Tavon."
"That I'm going to do." He assured, handing her the Core water bottle. "Don't you just love waking up here in the mornings?"
Shantey rolled her eyes, playfully. "Don't start that. I'm not moving out my house. We live close enough. I actually like when you irritate me and I can leave to my own space."
"Mhm." Tae faced the stove, continuing the cooking his wife started while a buzzing sound alerts the two if someone at the front gate, "That's Lorelei dropping off Miry. Romeo!"
Romeo was already jogging down the stairwell, "I'm goin now!"
The front door was shut as Romeo exited and Kendra was walking in with the carrying Azoni. "He kept asking for his Mommy."
Shantey accepted her pacifier-sucking son, kissing his chubby cheeks. "Can you bring me his bouncer? I'm a little lightheaded to hold him."
Kendra nodded and jogged out the kitchen.
"Lightheaded?" Tae questioned, "You ain't say that."
"It just started."
Kendra returns to the kitchen with Azoni's bouncer. "I'ma pretty good cooker. I can help," she offered placing Azoni in his bouncer looking at her aunt, "I cooked all the time back home. You look kinda like you're bouta—" She was interrupted by her aunt hopping off the island and rushing to nearest bathroom, "..throw up."
Tae had Kendra watch the food before he follows her to the bath on the first floor. She was throwing up in the toilet and he took the towel on the walk in, wetting it in the sink. Just as she flushed the toilet, he was squeezing the extra water out and assisting his wife in standing up from the floor.
