Who does she think she is? She feels that she can just lay her hands on somebody and not suffer repercussions for it? This is the second time. Maybe her doing time in jail will actually make her understand that getting physical with someone does come with consequences.

The voice of the new reporter echoes, slowly distorting into cheering of a crowd at one of her concerts. The edit puts her walking in slow motion in the tunnel of the arena with her crew, placing in her earpiece. The old clip from MTV shows her walking up onto the stage in her glittery Angel Brinks fit.

Shantey! Shantey! Shantey!

The chanting grows louder as Shantey walks up onto the stage—the blinding lights off the thousands cell phones grows wider until it covers the screen and it turns fully white.

There's this contrast of almost Angel and Devil on my shoulder with vulnerability,❞ Ocean waves swooshed, with a blurred taping of Shantey on the beach and sunset shining on her skin. ❝I think the way that I portray myself in my music, you can hear it. One second I'm going to show you that you hurt me. I'm going to show you that I've been through some shit. I'm going to show you the pain. Fuck you and fuck you. If you ever want to make me cry, you can. I'm just going to scream.

❝Being vulnerable is beautiful. But I always have to come back at it with this strong, powerful energy right after just to make sure people know just because I'm kind doesn't mean you can fuck with me..❞

C'mon, sing that song for GG Tansi,❞ The recorded clip of six-year-old Shantey out on the front lawn of her childhood home wit her grandmother behind the camcorder.

❝Don't make me close one more door,❞ The sings out in clean and strong belts, ❝I don't wanna hurt anymore; Stay in my arms if you dare; Or must I imagine you there; Don't walk away from me; I have nothing, nothing, nothing; If I don't have you, you, you, you, you, you

The friends of Tansi and herself were quick to applaud the six-year-old with shock that a six-year-old held a voice like her and could sing a Whitney Houston record as clear as the legend herself. ❝Yeahhh! That's GG baby!

The smile of the then six-year-old was wide and genuine and paused on the screen. ❝The Bodyguard was my favorite moviemy and GG Tansi's. I was two when the movie came out and my grandmother had it on VHS. I remember watching it so much she told me I'd hum every song till I turned four and she actually heard me singing one time I thought she was asleep. She's the one that taught me how to train my voice at a young age and pronounce my words fully. Whitney was one of the best vocalist to have ever done it, so vocal training to her was perfect. So my love for music, singing was basically a talent GG knew I had and bragged on about to the whole neighborhood. If it wasn't for her even putting the thought in my head at a young age I wouldn't be here today.
