About to read the rest of the article, his screen was replaced with a incoming video call from De. Tae slides his thumb across the screen to answer, then it connects to his now Grammy-award-winning brother on the screen with a sunny background.
"Rise and fuckin' shine!" Tae greeted, "Damn, nigga, I been tryna hit you all night. You goin' all Hollywood witcha Grammy and shit."
De'Aundre laughed, stepping outside to the sun beaming in his eyes that makes him squint a little. "Man, never dat. I been knocked out. I was up all night drinkin', fuckin', and flying to Punta Mita at Porter Stay Resort. Check out this view, blood."
The camera flipped around to De'Aundre showing his baby brother the view of the resort. It's surrounded by tropical gardens on Pacific Coast peninsula and white-sand beach. He placed it back on himself saying, "You know Anicia peoples own this mufucka. They ever divorce, Toby better get alimony. She above level rich."
Tae laughed at his brother's comment. "Shut yo ass up man. I been tryna congratulate you last night about the Grammy win. You and Dover. But your ass livin' it up in Punta Mita. I'm proud of you, man, foreal."
"Oh man, don't start that sentimental shit."
"Man just listen." Tae chuckles a little, and De gives him the go ahead to continue. "I'm really proud of you cause growing up, I was scared for you. I thought we was gonna have to bury you and lose you forever. I know you goin' to prison wasn't a good thing, but I rather that than having to close the casket over you. With the route you was going down that bid sat you down and I'm happy it did cause look at you now. You a great fuckin' Father, a better man, and a OG witta mufuckin' Grammy!"
"Momma I made it!" De exclaimed with a slight laugh, "Nah you know I value whatchu and Toby kick to me. You gave me this platform to even be able to succeed. I appreciate you and love you and all those sentiments. Where the hell you going?" He asked, realizing Tae was inside a sprinter.
"Home. Me and the wife just leaving the doctors appointment. We found out the genders today."
"Two boys huh?" De asked, "Seem like sis don't breed shit but boys."
"It's both: girl and boy."
"Whhaa? Seona not bouta like that." De laughed, "She gon' fuck y'all up. Where sis at anyway? Not she ain't greet me after leaving all those voicemails singing congratulations and shit, big irky ass."
