❝SHANTEY❞
The Hollywood Bowl has finally arrived and waiting at the opened front door in a ALEXANDER WANG logo puffer sweatshirt and matching logo sweatpants in grey was Shantey, waiting on her eleven-year-old that would be accompanying her for the one-night-special event. Checking the time on her phone for the second time and realized they should be on the road."Cru!" Shantey called, "Bring your ass on. I'm not letting you come with me to make me late!"
Smiling, the eleven-year-old raced out his temporary bedroom matching the same outfit as his mother and NIKE BEN & JERRY low dunks. "Sorry. My phone was charging."
Shantey tilted her head as he walked past her. "You kept me, the star, waiting because you had to charge your phone? Cruz, stop playing with me and get in the car."
Cru laughed it off as he hopped into the sprinter that occupied Jasmine, Amanda, Sino, Jules, and TD—a bodyguard that works for Sino's company and permanently assigned to her.
Once Shantey was in, the driver pulled off and head to the destination. "This boy held me up cause he had to charge his phone and I don't see your suitcase. Where's it at?"
"The house. We can just come back and get it. You can drop me off."
Shaking her head she says, "Come back here with me. I want to talk to you."
Cru hopped up from sitting beside Sino and joined his mother, taking a seat next to her. "Are ready to start your next school in two days?"
"Yeah; as long as they have basketball. I'm on the court." Cru mimicked a ball entering a hoop.
Shantey chuckled a little. "Yeah, you'll have basketball. But you know while I'm moving in my place there you're going to stay with Tae at his place he's moving into until I have all of your bedrooms together. How do you feel about that?"
Cru shrugged. "I'm okay with it. I know Tae. You seem concerned."
"Mm; not a bad concern because I know Tae would never make you feel uncomfortable just cause you have a different father. I, as a mother, just have to make sure you're okay especially with us being separated and leading to a divorce. Things are kinda different now with Boogie and we're tryna keep everything as normal as possible. I don't want you feel like you're left out."
