Her curly hair bounces her jogging to the door of her Atlanta hotel suite. Soon as she opened the door she was crowded in a hug by five bodies, belonging to her nieces. There was the triplets; Malorie, Janis, and Ladae—the older ones Malorie and Janis matching deep chocolate complexion while Ladae managed to inherit her maternal aunty entirely; her nose, green-hazel eyes, the olive skin with a honey undertone and her short height. Then the identical twins, Hazel and Maeve that have soft brown skin, brace-faced, and took on their fathers face with femininity.

"Hi babies! Look at y'all!" Shantey takes a step back, smiling and looking over her niece's. Her niece-twin was the only one her height. "Like seriously, how are y'all taller than me? That's a lot, Benjamin!"

The tall and lean gentleman stood handsomely with his brown sugar skin and full trimmed beard, lifting his hands in defense. "Hey. I just planted the seed. Momma did it."

Shantey's only living maternal sister, Monae, stood before him in a black ribbed ALEXANDER MCQUEEN cardigan and wide-legged pants with her hair recently pressed bone straight by her hairstylist back home, along with Malorie, Janis, Hazel, and Maeve, while Ladae stuck with her natural curls. "Yeah, just blame it on, Momma."

Benjamin smiled, kissing his wife's cheek.

"Y'all come in. Sit, sit." Shantey beckoned.

Benjamin being the last one in, he closed the door as the parents and their daughters went in and took a seat on the sofa with Ladae sitting next to Shantey and hugging her. "I think you carried one of my kids, Mo."

"You know that's the word around, Tulsa." Monae let her know.

Shantey rolled her eyes. "The gossip city. I'm just so glad y'all could make it to my show. I know everything with ALiGN has been busy."

"Incredibly," Monae blew out a breath. "But we couldn't miss another show. These girls right here wasn't about to allow that to happen. I know you weren't doing a show in Oklahoma."

"Yeah, Aunty, why don't you do shows in Tulsa or even Oklahoma City?" Malorie questioned with her sister's looking to their aunty wanting to know the same thing.

"Uhm... My history with Tulsa isn't the best, so I pretty much steer clear of that place. My last visit wasn't one of my greatest. It's just best for aunty to stay around the state and not in it." Shantey explained the watered down version.
