❝TAE❞

               ROMIR TAESHA BOOKER blessed the earth on the ninth of September with his Virgo energy. Although Tae wasn't present for the actual birth, he waited those long laboring hours in the waiting room alongside Toby and Troy. Until Lorelei older sister Rockie rushed out in happiness to tell the new grandfather's that Romir was here. Cassius and Tae wasted no time to go back and meet the newborn. Lorelei was holding her newborn with a smile on her face and tears coming out of her eyes.

               Standing on side of the bed was Shantey and Romeo; her wiping the happy tears that streamed down his cheeks. Despite not wanting to be anywhere near his soon-to-be ex wife, Tae went over to embrace his eldest. Reeling back he held his face in his hands. "Welcome to fatherhood baby."

               Romeo grinned as he looked at his newborn. "It's real now. I'm scared."

               "It's normal," Tae assured Romeo. "But you're going to do straight. It's all a learning process and you have family around you to help."

               Romeo nodded, taking in his father's words whilst wiping his moist eyes. "I want to take pictures of the grandparents with Romir. I've saw the headlines and I just want you to put it to the side right quick and stand with her with your grandson."

               Tae took a deep breath with a tight jaw. Although a photo with Shantey in it was the last thing he wanted to do, he would do it for Romeo. Grabbing the newborn gently, Romeo hands off Romir to his father and allowed him to be held during the photos. A total of three were captured—each grandparent holding Romir in their arms.

               Tae remembered something from earlier to tell Romeo. "Call ya grandma before she be on my line. I'ma get out y'all way so Lorelei can rest. I love you Pop." He kissed his son's forehead.

               "I love you too."

               Once Tae left out he stopped by the waiting area for his brother and nephew to leave the hospital, while Sino and TD stayed for Shantey. With paps mainly awaiting close by the back entrance  Shantey entered, Tae went out the front hoping one doesn't spot him leaving out. Still having De's truck, the trio got inside and drove off.

               "Oh let me show y'all." Tae pulled out his phone and went to his gallery, pressing the clear photo he snapped of his grandson.

               Getting a glance as he drove, Toby said, "That's Romeo all the way."

               "Hell yeah." Troy agreed after getting a look at the photo.

               Locking his phone back, Tae placed in his pocket. "I'm a fucking Granddaddy at thirty-six." he chuckled, "This shit crazy."

               "Granddaddy before me and I have the older kids." Toby said as he drove on the freeway.

               "Shit's insane. But he fucking beautiful man. I'm happy bout him."

               "Romeo gone be staying in Gardena or they coming there?"

               Tae remembers the previous conversation he had with his son. "Lorelei and the baby coming there for the first six weeks so he can actively help. After they just gone figure it all out."
