She's different.

For the first time in my life I became curious, not about something but about a person.

I grinned as I closed the sliding door to the terrace of my room after throwing the dice with only paper inside. Ang dice  na 'yon ay pwedeng mabuksan at bigay pa ni Mommy sakin 'yon pero ibinato ko lang para sa babaeng hindi ko naman kilala?

Of course the paper inside has a letter on it. I even laughed because I knew that girl was already mad dahil noong nakaraang gabi din ay binato ko siya. I know I'm being unreasonable pero gusto ko lang magpapansin kahit hindi niya pa naman ako nakikita.

Hala, papansin lang.

Alam ko din namang bago siya dito at nakatira siya sa bahay na kaharap lang ng amin. Kung saan din nakatira 'yong girlfriend ni Lucas, my brother's bestfriend. And I think that's her sister.

And I'm not wrong, because after almost a week of hiding in the dark terrace of my room and watching her, I finally faced her! And damn it, hindi ko naman alam na ganito pala siya kaganda sa malapitan.

She looks so fucking fierce, cocky and freaking beautiful with a savage attitude.

I like her.

Becca, that's her nickname I guess? And damn, when she looked at me earlier I felt my heart skip a beat! Just fuck, why is that?

"Where did Shan go?" Lucas' asked.

Shanele is his girlfriend and shockingly this is Shanele's sister, hindi nga ako nagkakamali. Nakakapagtaka lang dahil mabait 'yong isa. I didn't say this woman is not nice, though.

"She left..." Mataray kahit ang boses niya.

"I know—"

"Alam mo na pala, eh..."

Gusto kong mapangisi nang sumagot ito nang pabalang. Kahit sino siguro ay mababastusan pero hindi ko alam kung bakit natutuwa pa ako.

I tried to be close to her, it was hard, especially because she has two guards, but apart from that, she was really rude and elusive to people. Napansin ko 'yon, Lalo na noong gabi na naabutan ko siya sa ihawan.

"Gusto mo non?" I asked, looking at her.

She looks cute in her joggers and oversized shirt, sobrang simple. Ni-wala siyang make-up, natural ang pula ng labi  at malayang nakabagsak ang buhok. Para bang wala siyang pakialam kung ano ang magiging tingin sa kanya ng ibang tao, basta malaya siya... And that's what I want, my own kind of girl.

"Come on, then. Bibili kita..." I volunteered because she doesn't seem to have any intention of approaching the food stall even though I know she wants to.

"Mamaya nalang siguro," aniya pa.

This stubborn girl.

"Mawawala na 'yan mamaya, halika na."

She made that simple night special for me. I was happy because of her innocence! Damn, kahit pala maangas siyang tingnan ay inosente pa din siya sa ibang bagay.

Nakakainis nga lang dahil dumulas ako sa huling sinabi ko sa kanya! You dumbass, Maddieson. Totoo naman kasing may pake ako, lalo na noong nalaman ko na may asthma siya tapos parang tinatago pa niya? I suddenly remembered what she said when Lucas confronted her...

"So many people wanted her to die..."

"And as her sister I was willing to take all the responsibilities."
