Afterlives

Herobrine was walking to the donut store to pick up breakfast before everyone woke up. Sora had been snuggled up on him, so he had to wriggle out of her without waking her up. When he got back to the house with breakfast, there was a note taped to their front door. He looked at it, saw that it was just an advertisement, he just opened the door, and walked in. He put the donuts on the table and went back to his room. Sora wasn't up yet, so he simply turned the T.V. on and set it at a low enough volume so he could hear clearly, but she wouldn't wake up. She seemed to sense that he was back because she put her head in his side. He looked down at her and smiled, putting his arm around her shoulders.
Kaira and Serenity were both waking up, and Kaira cracked his neck. He sat up in bed and looked down at Serenity, who was still struggling to wake up. He nudged her a couple times to bring her back to consciousness. She looked up at him and smiled, sitting up next to him.
She yawned and asked "Mm... how did you sleep?" As she stretched.
"Eh, the usual. Better than when we were alive."
"Heh," She let out a hint of a laugh "Same... you get over what happened yet?"
"Well, I'm still kinda upset that I didn't get to kill Vordus... but finally beating... Dread... yeah that was fun." She looked at him inquisitively.
"You hesitated there for a moment." She turned herself to face him "What was that about?"
"Just... I still don't know if it's really over... between him and me."
She hugged him and replied "Don't worry about that. He's... somewhere, and you're here. I don't know if we'll ever be seeing him again." She kissed him on the cheek before adding "Now, come on. Stop worrying about that and come downstairs with me. I think Dad might be back with breakfast." She gestured toward the clock and they saw that it was late in the morning.
"Yeah, you're right." He smiled at her "Alright, let's get dressed." They both got up and went to their closet.
Since Kaira only wore pants when he slept, it took him almost no time at all. Serenity, however, had to take off her shirt and pants, then put all of that back on. Kaira picked a pair of dark blue jeans and a black long sleeved t-shirt. He put his socks on and hopped a few times, making sure he could move comfortably. Serenity, on the other hand, took a white t-shirt and gray sweatpants. She slipped into her house shoes and the two walked out of the room. When they got to the second floor balcony that looked out toward the ground floor, the two both swung themselves over the rail. Kaira did a double corkscrew flip before landing. Serenity simply used jets of flame from her fists to slow her descent, causing her landing to be almost silent where as Kaira's caused a loud thud.
While the two kids were already out of bed, Tristan and Ashley were still fast asleep. Tristen woke up first and looked down, seeing Ashley cheek pressed against his chest. He smiled and turned himself toward her, causing her head to fall on the mattress. He laughed a little before lifting her head and putting her on the pillow. A few seconds after her head met the pillow, her ruby eyes began to open. She looked at Tristen, then closed her eyes again, and went back to sleep. Tristen, unsurprised by this, smiled at her, and held her to his chest. He felt her warm skin pressed against his cool skin, causing them both to feel at ease. A minute or two later, Tristen got up to go see what was going on downstairs. Ashley looked up from the bed, but she didn't see any reason to get up yet... yet. Tristen didn't feel the need to put on a shirt because... well he lived there. He didn't need to put on a shirt if he didn't want to, Herobrine walked around in nothing but a t-shirt some times, not wearing anything but a t-shirt, and no one had any problem. When he got down to the main floor, he found Kaira and Serenity wrestling over a chocolate donut.
"Gimme the damn donut!" Kaira told her as he got on top.
"No!" She punched him in the nose and threw him off of her.
"Alright." The two got up "Guess we're gonna have to go at it." Before the two saw him, he decided to go upstairs and wake Ashley up.
He went up to their bedroom, grabbed her by the ankle, and pulled her out of the bed. She slammed against the wooden floor and glared up at him when she swung her head, moving hair out of her face. The second he explained that there were donuts downstairs, however, her mood instantly changed. Her eyes lit up and she bolted out the door, jumped over the railing, and rushed into the kitchen. She saw Kaira with Serenity in a fierce headlock with the chocolate donut in his biological hand.
"Hah ha!" Kaira laughed triumphantly before stuffing the entire pastry in his mouth, then with his mouth full, he let her go, and added "Suck it, Seri." He swallowed to prepare if she retaliated
She got back up to her feet, brushed the hair out of her face, smiled at him, and proceeded to punch him in the stomach. Kaira took a step back from the force of the punch. Even though he trained her, he always forgot how strong she had been getting. He inhaled for a second, then he let out the breath, and smiled at her.
"I... constantly forget how strong you are," He told her, grinning "But I still got the donut."
"Yeah, but I landed a hit." She smiled at him before giving him a quick kiss on the cheek again.
Kaira smiled at her, then put a hand on her shoulder, and walked past. He went into the living room and sat down on the couch, waving her over. She came over and sat down next to him, putting an arm around his robotic shoulder. He put his head on her shoulder as she turned on the television. As the two began to watch Oni Orb O, everyone else got dressed. Ashley took a black long sleeved shirt that revealed a bit of her midriff, and some black running pants. Tristen put on a blue t-shirt, light blue jeans, and a black and blue jacket. Since Herobrine was already dressed, that only left Sora. he wore a simple pair of light gray sweatpants and a white tank top. When everyone was dressed, they all went about their usual days... well, most of them did.
